Has any one ever tried one of these and does it work?

Further to my thread in the "ask the experts" section i'm really thinking about rebuilding my swing completely. Does anyone know if just spending time on the explanar would help me as i'd give that a try if it does.

I've let my membership lapse so i'm going to spend the next year working on my swing whilst just playing social golf. It would be nice to have a reliable swing in place for when i join a club in 2012 though.

I've been on long weekend instructional courses and found them a bit too full on. There never seemed to be time to ingrain any changes before moving onto another aspect of going out and playing a few holes. I guess with a week there is much more time to work on stuff. I guess it depends on things like price, the qulaity of the teacher and whether you feel you'd get any benefit.

Personally I'd rather spend the cash on lessons with a local pro on a regular basis over the year and practice my swing and play socially in between. By having regular lessons the swing should develop and there won't be time between sessions for too many bad habits to grow. An Explanar is a good bit of kit but it won't give you any magic move other than giving you the feeling of a proper turn back and through. It's the taking that and doing it without the safety net of the explanar that is the tough bit

I would love to spend a solid week with a pro and work on my swing, does anyone actualy offer this? I mean is it something people do.

When I get my lotto win I will have a pro on staff :D

Just need to start doing the lotto now :o
