The casting was
People weren’t happy with the ending & lots of conspiracies about it,but I thought it was spot on.
My mates bro in law got a pic with James Gandolfini whilst on holiday,was so jealous

I was genuinely gutted when he passed away, such a loss, great actor which would've had loads more to come.
All the clues were there throughout the show about the ending, chatting to Bobby about not hearing it coming, the alternating points of view in the diner, thought it was really cleverly done.
It'll always be number 1 for me, with The Wire as number 2.

You definitely do, a bit of a slow burn but once you're in I think you'll love it. Done a few rewatches and still catch stuff I missed.

As they said at the time, there are 2 sorts of people, those that thought The Wire was the best TV series ever made and those who hadn’t watched it yet.

Where can The Wire be found? My brother bought me the box set of DVDs about 5 years ago, I never watched them, still got the DVDs somewhere but the DVD player was built into the TV that went a few years ago!

The Wire is good, but getting used to the way they speak is like learning a new language. I nearly gave up on it a few times because of it.

I watch everything with subtitles on so that helped, know what you mean though.

I think subtitles is a Millenial thing apparently.
I'll have to tell my 86 yr old mum that
. She has subtitles on for everything.

My 21yo daughter always has subtitles on. It’s a real pain trying to remember how to turn them off after she’s been round to ours!
