The Traitors is very far from trash TV…in fact it‘s excellent and utterly engaging TV with high production values and a great variety of characters…and the Scottish landscape looks superb…they even found lovely weather

It is a reality thing, but it’s nothing like the two examples you mention. Much more complex, and though one or two competitors might be a bit self-promoting, the nature and set-up of the game can totally undermine and expose them.

You really don‘t know what you are missing
(@Bdill93 does). My Mrs didn’t watch the first series (I did) and was very sceptical of my enthusiasm and whether she’d bother. She’s utterly hooked - indeed last night was complaining that she has to wait until this evening for the next episode - so thinks next week and following weeks she might wait until the week’s three episodes have been aired and then binge watch the three in a row. It’s great fun…

I can't watch anything with Claudia Long Fringe...I watched the first 15 minutes of the first series and the people on it deserved a spot in the Random Irritations thread. Oh and the ridiculous drama around a big table. Nope. Not for me either.
