Isle of Purbeck clubhouse has some superb views.

Not a fan of the huge clubhouses, that seem to be built for corporate events. Prefer mine to be aimed at the size of the membership. West Hill, Swinley, Tandridge, West Surrey spring to mind.

Forgot about St Georges Hill....dammit....3 isn't enough.....
Love Essenden as well which has to have the largest indoor Japenese sauna bath I've ever seen!
Stoke Park and Moor Park are OK as well....wow this is harder than I first thought!

Gleneagles is obviously brilliant but is a hotel rather than a golf clubhouse.

I would have put Royal St. Georges but it's gone down hill since they let women in.

It's not been the same since they took down the sign ;)

My top 3.....
Cooden beach, for the barmaids
Salisbury & south wilts for the craic!
And hayling island because of the sausage baps!!
Also any club house with a telescope in the bar !!!

Maybe it should be a separate thread but what does a clubhouse need to have to make it into a top 3?

Surely it needs more than a 'nice view' or a barmaid with tasty baps

The standard of competition must be pretty poor if that's all it takes to make it to the top

The top 3 can only be subjective. Quality of Baps are a criteria of measurement and on the top of the list for me. Outstanding views are one thing, but a soft flourey bread product, preferably containing a sausage, is a winner for me !!!
