In no particular order

Royal and Ancient (because it just is the R&A clubhouse - the R&A labelled whisky was also very nice and I kept the bottle)
Westward Ho (JH Taylor and golfing history)
Our own (Farnham GC - nice old traditional members club clubhouse)

Ballyliffin
Castle Stuart
Birkdale

Hon mentions to Hoylake, Alwoodley and to an extent Turnberry , although I mean the view from the Hotel down to the course more than anything.

I thought the ladies clubhouse at Formby looked splendid - when viewed from the older, bigger and fancier Gents Clubhouse - oops ...

Do they still have a Ladies C/H there?

Yes. Its also expected that if you play the Formby Ladies GC (that runs inside Formby GC) that you go into the ladies clubhouse afterwards as they are run as separate clubs. Albeit, with obvious close ties.

FLGC is a cracking course in its own right aswell !

The more people post the more difficult I think this gets as something always get mentioned you forgot about.

Blairgowrie and Crail, both fantastic.
