When people compare the women's game to men's football and are less than complimentary they are told that it is a different game.

That being so then I fail to see how she could ever be considered for any job in men's football.
If she takes a lower league job and works her way up then why not.
But there’s lots of managers earning their stripes ahead of her in the men’s game.

She may know nothing about men’s football at any level.

This started with the concept that Southgate wouldn't be good because he would not be able to change players at club level whilst he can at international level, the opposite of most thinking. You have now gone into full defensive mode about Utd. You are creating your own argument 🤷‍♂️
Southgate didn’t change players that was a major criticism of him.!

Didn’t know which thread to put this in as it covers 3 and is footie related 😂

Gladdens the heart: My new Reading home shirt turned up this morning and an absolute thing of beauty it is. Possibly my favourite I’ve ever had.

Random irritation: I ordered a Medium, they’ve sent me an XL!

Gladdens the Heart: have been in contact with club shop, said “don’t worry about it keep the XL but we will dispatch a M out today for you”

All in all very happy I’ll get the right size come through in the next couple of days and use the XL to see if I can get it signed and then frame it for posterity 👌

Sometimes I love my club. Other times however 😒😂
Send your XL one to Scott Redman concepts and get some headcovers made out of it.

My mate did it with a Liverpool shirt they look fabulous.

Why would she take a job at, say, Tooting & Mitcham when she’s the current England ladies manager? European Championships & World Cup ‘v’ Tooting & Mitcham on a wet Wednesday.

Could be worse could support Utd 😂

Think you might be onto something just tried it on for 💩’s and giggles. Not a bad fit across the the chest. Sleeves little long, but the length of it is like a dress on my massive 5’6” height 😂

Simple. Wear the medium at the start of the game when you’re more concerned about the aesthetic.

Then switch to the XL at half time to make room for the pies and pints when comfort is paramount!

You're stood basically in front of my sister's house.
😳 she needs to get her washing in as it was bladdering it down 10 minutes later. 😂👍
Joking aside. Had a lovely walk through Nottingham. First time in the embankment pub. What a place that is 😳👍

Well a club could always appoint Brendan McCallum or Steve Borthwick as Head Coach, they would be as relevant, but I don't see it happening.

Got to love how the media manipulate what people say to suit their own agenda.

Amorim interviewed today about what he said after Grimsby game. He basically gave a fair and detailed response explaining the ups and downs of management, and how he simply expressed his angry feelings immediately after the poor game midweek. The context of his response was very clear to anyone with half a brain cell who actually listened to what he had to say.

But, you could tell all they were interested in cherry picking quotes to create sensational headlines.

So, now we have the likes of Talksport, and even the good old BBC, with headlines like

"Amorim sometimes hates his players and sometimes wants to quit"

Roll on the garbage gossip until his next conference, when they have time to work out more follow up questions that will spark more sesational headlines.

I can see why certain people want to avoid any interviews at all if they can.

Because she’s clearly said “ I don’t want the men’s job”
She might not follow mens football at all.
So just because she’s been successful in women’s football dosnt mean that will transfer to the men’s game.

If she says she does want the job that’s another thing altogether.!

😂😂

Trent navigation (across the road and down the side street opposite embankment towards Meadow Lane) is my go to on match days but all the pubs around there have a good buzz about them.

Antony to Real Betis for £25 million

50% sell on clause as well. So if Real Betis sell him for about £130 million, we get our money back :)

Hopefully Chelsea look to acquire him in a year or 2, in their pursuit of every winger on the planet
