I watched a fair bit of the whole tournament and in general it was a good watch all the way through.
I did however find a lot of the commentary really poor, it was like they really didn’t want to criticise any players for any errors they made and really talked up some very simple basic things.
I thought it actually was quite rude and condescending to the players they were being congratulated on making a 5 yard pass.
Not sure if it’s just me or if others noticed it as well?

Perhaps there is less incentive for the commentators to be ultra critical of every single mistake a player makes? Try and sensationalise everything, like the mens game?

Possible. It just found it a bit bizarre. I tried to watch with no sound but you don’t get the crowd either then obviously. Shame there wasn’t a no commentary button
