I'm not sure that having the owner of Forest front and centre, making statements about players etc really backs up the claim to uefa that he isn't involved in the running of the club. Not the smartest move.

I wonder if any other club might write in for clarification at some point.........

What amuses me is the way everyone who isn’t a Forest fan continues to underestimate Marinakis. I know he’s a pantomime villain to all. But he really isn’t as stupid as people want to think.

Not suggesting that this makes him unique amongst football club owners, I'm just slightly bemused that football supporters constantly perform mental gymnastics to justify the way the club they support is run.

I have no interest in (or am prepared to jump through whataboutism hoops to justify) a sports washing oil state owning the club, or a shady character from parts unknown, or a US PE fund. I'm an adult who enjoys watching football but despises the greed and corruption that surrounds it. I'm pleased when they win, and not particularly fussed when they don't.
I probably go to different parties to you, but most of the people I know who follow football feel much the same.
