Two evenly matched teams at Villa Park. Villa edging it but Newcastle having chances still. Watkins looking very sharp tonight.
I went along today - my 4th attempt this season to see a home goal (yay) and win (not yay).Pretty terrible show by West Ham today, sooner the season is over the better!
Not sure if Potter is just making strange substitutes to show the chairman how poor the squad is but every time he made a change we looked even more like the relegated side!![]()

You can usually tell when they dive as they are looking at the ref before they have hit the turf. Diving really needs to be clamped down on.It’s been a good game - poor dive from him though
They were good but I do think Newcastle looked knackered. If you can get CL again then who knows where it will take you?Have a bit of that
Now that is Aston Villa in full form! Absolutely brilliant performance.
Up the villa
Fortunate enough to not be there todayI went along today - my 4th attempt this season to see a home goal (yay) and win (not yay).
It's a terrible squad, not helped by the subs.
I was really impressed by the way the Southampton players and fans celebrated their goal. Sounds odd, but the reason British football works is that for the most part players are really trying to get a result in every game. Despite the realisation that we really are the 4th worst team in the league in every way, it made me smile.
I think he'd possibly get more game time at United but, I guess, it depends on the lure of European football.
He may well get none of that at United.
Fortunate enough to not be there today
Enjoying the lakes and watched it on a dodgy stream on my phone!
I don’t like all the Potter out bollocks but I can see why a lot of folk think Potters has no clue! Mind you Fullkrug tore the team off a strip today, complaining the team went into their shell once they scored, with the coach imploring them to push on! Mebbe it’s the team and not the coach!![]()

We had 20 players there today, 11 were selected and 9 subs.Out of all those players 7 possibly 8 at an extreme push will be here next season the rest are either past it, not good enough, or in some cases simply can't be arsed and in typical mercenary style will be out the door and off to pastures new before the final whistle is blown at Ipswich in a few weeks time. It's 100% on the players . If the manager is pushing the team forward why are they taking the foot off the gas?
I watched it, was painful, we worked ramsdale a bit but not enough for bottom of the table. Soler was awful, I've given him a lot of time as he new to the league but jesus he isn't suited to this league at all. Paquata was brilliant mind. Battled best he could with the little support around him. Fulkerg was unlucky to have his goal ruled out but nevermind
Id drop kudus now and blood gullimere (sp) because he looks more interested ATM

There's got to be a massive overhaul in the summer, only then will we see if Potter is the man for the job.
Agree, it was late but high? Caught him on the Achilles so not high. That shows the lack of consistency with refs
There have been countless worse tackles than that which have been no worse than a yellow
VAR said it was high and late so it’s a red
It needs to look back over the season and see how many worse than that which have been ignored
