I went along today - my 4th attempt this season to see a home goal (yay) and win (not yay).Pretty terrible show by West Ham today, sooner the season is over the better!
Not sure if Potter is just making strange substitutes to show the chairman how poor the squad is but every time he made a change we looked even more like the relegated side!
It's a terrible squad, not helped by the subs.
I was really impressed by the way the Southampton players and fans celebrated their goal. Sounds odd, but the reason British football works is that for the most part players are really trying to get a result in every game. Despite the realisation that we really are the 4th worst team in the league in every way, it made me smile.

You can usually tell when they dive as they are looking at the ref before they have hit the turf. Diving really needs to be clamped down on.

Saw a snippet of a podcast and the question was - which player has had the biggest drop off
Someone who was top class one min then just bust
I can think of three names
Coutinho - was outstanding for us and then just fell off when he went to Barcelona
Hazard - was superb for Chelsea and then went to Madrid and just bombed
Both of those changed leagues
But the biggest imo
Alexis Sanchez
At Arsenal he was outstanding - went to Man Utd and turned into a non league player
Someone who was top class one min then just bust

It's 100% on the players . If the manager is pushing the team forward why are they taking the foot off the gas?
I watched it, was painful, we worked ramsdale a bit but not enough for bottom of the table. Soler was awful, I've given him a lot of time as he new to the league but jesus he isn't suited to this league at all. Paquata was brilliant mind. Battled best he could with the little support around him. Fulkerg was unlucky to have his goal ruled out but nevermind

We had 20 players there today, 11 were selected and 9 subs.Out of all those players 7 possibly 8 at an extreme push will be here next season the rest are either past it, not good enough, or in some cases simply can't be arsed and in typical mercenary style will be out the door and off to pastures new before the final whistle is blown at Ipswich in a few weeks time.
There's got to be a massive overhaul in the summer, only then will we see if Potter is the man for the job.

We need 4 players added to that squad with kudus leaving to fund most of it
Aguard returns to add options , he will thrive under potter
We need new lb (kwp name keeps coming up)
2 new forwards
And a midfielder with an engine
You add those to that squad and we won't be in a bad position
The players aren't bad we are just unbalanced
Too slow in midfield, you need that speed to turn defence into attack
