It’s far too easy to pin on the manager but doesn’t help with players being shocking , missed loads of chances today and then mentally crumbled after another poor mistake from VVD

Elements of that have to come down to management, Phil. I absolutely agree that once players have crossed the white line there is a limit regarding what managers can do, but a well managed team don’t mentally crumble. And defensively, you’ve looked at sea all season - that’s most definitely on Slot.

It’s been poor all season as soon as we go a goal down , sit too deep , big holes in the middle

Last season Gravenburch was superb as the 6 and this season just seems to spend all game wandering

He will get the rest of the season but what they do in the summer will be interesting

FA Cup Quarter final against Liverpool and huge amounts of empty seats in the ground - why are they extending it when they can’t fill it at its current capacity

A lot of truth in that , don’t want to be swapping managers everytime there is a poor season , had them before under Klopp as well

I don’t disagree, but if Liverpool miss out on Champion’s League football a year after winning a title and then bolstering the squad with half a billion quid’s worth of new players, the board have a massive decision to make.

Are you sure? Hodgson was there when FSG took over and lasted less than a year, Dalglish got 2 years and Rodgers 3.

Yes they backed Klopp, but he took them forward.

Maybe if Slot struggles we’ll see what they do.

And, for me, what I describe in my last post goes way beyond a bad season. It’s catastrophic.

They need to give him one more season, he got lucky last Season in that Klopp left him a superb squad who knew their role.

He didn’t change very much, this season he’s changed how they play and it hasn’t been a success, add to that the change of personnel, he needs to get them back next season or he’s gone, imo.
