So, if rules are thought to be complicated/stupid/a mess then just feel free to do what you can to bend them? Thought it was (financial) fair play not do what you want anyway?

Edit: Man City inflated sponsorship deals (allegedly) and people were up in arms but do the same for academy players and you are called good business minds?? 🤔

Smart business moves.

How else can anyone ever compete with teams that generate twice the revenue?

Ah but if clubs show common sense like this, how are the big clubs meant to go round hoovering up all of the talent and how on earth can a league be fair when less popular clubs dare to challenge the status quo. They will be giving champions league places to teams soon just based on their global reputation :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

They haven't broken any rules though. Bending them isn't really a thing. If they were watertight you wouldn't able to bend them. In essence they haven't bent anything, they've just made some sales which improve their FFP standing. If that is what they need to do to meet the threshold, then all power to them.

So Connor Gallagher in for TAA alongside Rice, the thing is Gallagher doesn't actually play as a defensive mid. Makes you wonder...
That won't make any difference other than having someone with much worse passing than Trent. Needs to shuffle the pack not just change one card for a less good card. 😆

With all the debate about the Scottish pen/no pen not much has been said about the GK's actions smashing a player's face, causing broken bones and concussion. He did get some of the ball but I reckon in rugby union that's a red card for reckless actions and not protecting the opposing player.

Watching it live it was clear he was in trouble. Lying prone apart from twitching fingers and gulping (may have swallowed his tongue). Can't blame his teammates for taking control of the stretcher which was getting there in installments! Good to hear he's ok although needing some surgery on his face. Ouch.

It all stems from the PL failing to properly punish City and letting them get away with everything.

Other clubs have seen this weakness and have started taking the piss too. Can't blame them, the PL have created this toxic situation due to their own cowardly behaviour.

Playing with width and high tempo, it isn't rocket science!

Meanwhite Southgate has decided the only change needed is Gallagher coming in for TAA. Beyond depressing!

I thought that would be the only change Southgate would make ( can’t think it’s official yet though)

I’m not to concerned what changes he makes it’s the system/ tactics I would like changed.

10 changes for Spain, thought Albania might of took it as a sign and tried to get at them from the off.🤷‍♂️

They haven't been at their most fluent this tournament but you have to have real respect for Croatia and their recent tournament record. Current population, around 3.8m. Remarkable.
