Your biggest issue could be release clauses, It’s could you don’t need to sell, but if your form dipped after Christmas and you ended bottom half, other Clubs could try and turn their heads.

Top half and maybe even European football next season could see yous in a great position.

To my knowledge they don’t, but someone else could prove me wrong. I think our owner is too shrewd to leave the club open to losing out because of a release clause. If there any, it’ll be crazy money. He will have covered all bases.

Talking of our owner, I’m fully aware outsiders think he’s an absolutely crazy fecker, mainly because of the infamous VAR tweet last season, plus spitting-at-referee-gate earlier this season. But if you look into him a bit more, you might find yourself begrudgingly admiring him and possibly even wishing he owned your club instead. The man has done a heck of a lot for the communities of his Greek club and also Nottingham and is very ambitious. I’m nothing but ecstatic that we’ve got him. If you have 30 mins of spare time and have the inclination to do so, I recommend watching the Sky Sports documentary about him, available on YouTube. I’m nothing but positive about the future while he’s in charge.

Murillo will be gone in the summer by the way. £80m plus. £100m plus if it’s Liverpool. 😉

He may well be a bit of nutter but he certainly seems to be very much invested in the club

He very much is. He talks about wanting us to be regularly challenging for top domestic and European honours. How achievable that is I’m not sure. But he makes you feel like if anyone can do it, he can.
It’s a huge task to break into that “top 4” etc - getting European football is a must and then smart recruitment and just got to find a way to keep the players

Getting into Europe is definitely a potential this season

Not just the club but the community as a whole.

I was very critical of some of the decisions we made after getting promotion but now things have settled down and we seem to have figured things out a bit more both on and off the pitch, he’s really won me round.

Thanks for the reminder about the Doc on Sky, I’ll get that watched later.

Very very tough game tonight

Bournemouth look a very well oiled machine ATM. Playing well

We on the other hand still haven't found much in the way of tactics

Emerson is suspended so AWB goes to left back with coufal coming in

Paquata returns to the line up with Summerville somehow getting dropped for him.

Bowen up top again

Be lucky to get a draw

Interesting, no Rodriguez or Todibo in squad…🤔

I read an article by Gareth Farrelly, ex-Bolton, Everton & Villa, amongst others who has qualified as a Lawyer since retiring, about Players contracts and how they work, he said most players in the PL have a release clause, more often than not put in by the Club to protect their “investment”
