To my knowledge they don’t, but someone else could prove me wrong. I think our owner is too shrewd to leave the club open to losing out because of a release clause. If there any, it’ll be crazy money. He will have covered all bases.

Talking of our owner, I’m fully aware outsiders think he’s an absolutely crazy fecker, mainly because of the infamous VAR tweet last season, plus spitting-at-referee-gate earlier this season. But if you look into him a bit more, you might find yourself begrudgingly admiring him and possibly even wishing he owned your club instead. The man has done a heck of a lot for the communities of his Greek club and also Nottingham and is very ambitious. I’m nothing but ecstatic that we’ve got him. If you have 30 mins of spare time and have the inclination to do so, I recommend watching the Sky Sports documentary about him, available on YouTube. I’m nothing but positive about the future while he’s in charge.

Murillo will be gone in the summer by the way. £80m plus. £100m plus if it’s Liverpool. 😉
Just watched the Sky interview you mentioned.
I wasn't entirely sure how I felt about Marinakis before but he seems like the genuine article. He couldn't be less guarded. It's difficult not to like and admire what he does.

Didn’t the male no.1 get caught twice, rings a bell but I may be wrong, he then blamed it on a cream his masseuse used. What a crock of 💩
Yep some cream got into a cut apparently

The level of the steroid wasn’t enough to enhance any performance etc etc and seems the steroid itself is in lots of over the counter stuff in Italy

Swiatek was banned for a month

Four times I've mentioned to her someone's offered me a spare for Leicester on Sunday, and four times she's said we've got nothing planned. Just give me a reason not to be able to go like all the other times you've got me booked up.

Just seen Cunha has been charged by the FA for the incident after the game. At the time, it didn't look great where he seemed to elbow the chap in the back of the head, then rip his glasses off. I only really saw it once, so wasn't sure if it was an actual elbow or just one of those moments where arms are flapping and contact is made with no real intent.

However, just seen the video again. It actually seems like he deliberately tried to elbow the guy in the head, and launched himself into him. If they find him guilty of that, I wonder what the ban could be? More than the standard 3 games?

Forgot about Ferdinand. I’m just aware how current tennis players always seem to find a loophole or get quite lenient suspensions, maybe football is more strict.
Usually just say the substance is found in Vicks Vaporub and they had no idea or something like that. 😄 Not to mention 70% of the Liverpool squad having "asthma" that time..

Same as Cantona got imo.

Hitting someone from behind is shithousery of the highest order.

That would be interesting.

Is there a difference to kicking out at a fan off the pitch, and elbowing a security person in the back of the head on the pitch? If it is on the pitch, is the punishment more lenient? Are elbows more acceptable than kicks? I wonder if they have a checksheet that recommends punishments for different types of incidents, or just make it up on the spot if it is not the standard 3 games?

So, Jamie Carragher last night listed his top ten Premier League forwards (note, not strikers) of all time. The list is below.

1 - Thierry Henry

2 - Mo Salah

3 - Cristiano Ronaldo

4 - Eric Cantona

5 - Didier Drogba

6 - Wayne Rooney

7 - Alan Shearer

8 - Eden Hazard

9 - Dennis Bergkamp

10 - Gareth Bale

Clearly very subjective, and I accept this list is forwards rather than strikers, so is not referring to goal scorers as such, but I’m mystified as to how the likes of Hazard and Drogba can make it in there, and Harry Kane cannot.

Thoughts?

Jezz is he judging Ronaldo and bale on 1 really good season each in the league? Rest of time were ok but had their best times in their career away from the league

Kane goes above them both and so does augero

Even RVN should

Would have Kane in there over Hazard

Tough one but if it’s just “strikers” then imo

Shearer
Kane
Wright
Fowler
Cole
Owen
Drogba
Van Nistelrooy
Torres
Rooney
Aguero

In no particular order

Sorry forgot Aguero who needs to be in as well

I saw it, but pointless commenting on. It is subjective, and we could all talk for months trying to justify our own selections or criticise others

Probably because that just Carraghers opinion based on the 13 Players MNF put forward.

13 players listed and scored under the following:

IMG_7122.jpeg

He then listed his top 10 from that giving 10 to 1 point, 3 players got 0.

Then the Public vote giving the same 10 to 1 and 3 zero’s

Which gave the final table, with Kane and Aquero in the top 10.

It was nearly 20 minutes long with him and Henry discussing it all, it was a very good watch.

The guy on the pitch is at work.!
What would happen to you if you hit a security person from behind while he’s restraining someone then rip his glasses off.

I would guess the sack!
But these players are “assets “ and worth millions so that won’t happen.

He needs teaching that you can’t do that .
