Was listening to radio commentary of the game so couldn’t see it. The commentators said something about Spurs fans chucking screwed up paper whenever there was a corner.

What was going on? Was it some form of organised protest about something, or plain old fashioned football fan idiocy?

Chucking the paper left on their seats before the match I think. A lot of it going on though. Idiocy for sure.

Thank God Son didn’t score then. The VAR analysis over whether it was offside or not would have been going on for about half an hour.

How can the left back be not interfering with play when he ran to the ball

As Clough used to say if a player isn't interfering with play he shouldn't be on the pitch

It looked like he was running at full belt and tried to slow down.
Imo he puts his elbow up as he’s getting close maybe to protect himself ,but you just can’t do that.

Spurs shot themselves in the foot here.
Absolute morons giving two penalty’s away with challenges like that especially the second one.

Can you blame the manager for those tackles ?
Your main defender injures himself doing a Cryuff turn in his own penalty area .
Think Spurs got what they deserved absolute madness.

Good game though 😳

Great listen on 5 Live, that match was.
As awful as Clinton Morrison is to listen to during the build up or in a studio setting, he was actually top notch as a co-commentator there.
I obviously didn't see any of it, but they were suggesting Cole Palmer is the best player in the Premier League at the moment.

I'm going to buck the trend here but I didn't think Palmer had a great game. His "assist" was amazing until he shot at goal - deflection took it to a Chelsea player. Two well taken penalties. Other than that - I didn't see much. Right now he's better than Foden but let's assess them both with the test of time and relentless pressure to perform.

"Dons tin hat and retreats" :)

Kudos to Palmer for actually wanting to play football.
It’s a big decision choosing to leave City.
The odd thing is that Foden choose to stay, Sancho choose to go. Until today Fodens career has gone from strength to strength. Sancho after Dortmund imploded. He is now playing with Palmer. If Sancho can get back to the levels of City and Dortmund that will be two incredible players at Chelsea for a good few years.
I mentioned the other day that Savinho is playing more football because of injuries to Grealish, Doku, Foden etc. if Palmer had stayed he would have had the playing time that Savinho now has.

Give him a chance. At least he has a vision of where he wants to take the club. Unlike the Glayzers who just bled it dry.

Amorim has already got Utd playing a better “style” of football. Quite simply the players are not yet fit (or good enough?). Ratcliffe and Amorim have a big job to do but it’s not going to happen overnight.

It might be blind faith but I’m holding onto it !!!

No doubt he isn’t going to bleed the club dry taking money out into pockets

But he is costing the club a fortune with the football decisions as well

iNeos was great in cycling because they took over a successful Sky team with Brailsford there

Listening to 5 live Brailsford is involved in Man Utd and part of the decision making - why when he has zero football knowledge , INEOS haven’t had a great go with Nice

When it comes to Ashworth they spent months chasing him after he clearly had done a good job with England , Brighton and Newcastle, he wasn’t involved in much in the summer (a lot down to Wilcox ) due to only stating July .

Who wanted Ashworth in to spend millions getting him

Someone gave ETH a new contract after trying to get multiple other managers

And then that someone has decided that 5 months is enough time for Ashworth

Both will cost the club over £30mil ?!?

I hope for your sake that Ratcliffe is nowhere near any football decisions - it’s no better than Woodward making them

Whilst glazers have plundered the club for millions , it’s not been a great 10 months for INEOS - even more when know trying to raise more money by charging some kids £66 a ticket ?!
