Looked like dark patch where the ball bounced. I wondered if he hadn’t been replacing his divots :ROFLMAO:
Just watching the studio discuss it and it does look like it’s spinning one way and when it bounces it kills the spin and turns slightly away from him.😂😂

I thought he had taken over "football operations" ? If that doesnt mean/include hiring and firing staff related to the footballing side of the business....what does it mean/include?
Dan Ashworth and Omar Berrada have taken over football operations, they will be responsible for the hiring and firing. Jim Ratcliffe has provided the financial clout.

A rhetorical question; who do they report to? Who hires & fires them?

The hierarchy will be along the lines of owners, board, dept heads, departments. Company strategy will be determined by the owners/board. That strategy will be turned into operational reality by the dept heads and the departments create the end product.

Would Ratcliffe & the board sack Ten Hag, going over the heads of Dan Ashworth & Omar Berrada? If the metrics/optics are rank bad they might but that would be huge vote of no confidence in Ashworth & Berrada. If things were that bad, I’d expect Ashworth & Berrada to be having that conversation with Ratcliffe, not the other way round. If they don’t, they are part of the problem.

Ratcliffe obviously, Ashworth and Berrada are there to run the football side of the business. What is the point of employing them and paying £12m+ per year if Ratcliffe is going to make decisions they are paid to make?

Ashworth and Berrada have only been there since June, thats not enough time to formulate and implement a plan for the future of the club. The team have only played 6 League games, everyone needs time otherwise the merry go round will.just keep going round and round and round.
I think they should give ten Haag the full season. It buys them time to make a robust plan and to employ the right person. Sacking him now would be crazy.

Referee in this match is completely useless - lost the game , can’t recall too many bad tackles yet 6 yellow cards ?!?

No idea why VAR didn’t give a penalty for the pull backn

Some really poor finishing in this game.
Jota should have had three.
We looked like we played one to many passes in the box.

To many PL strikers just hit it straight at the keeper.

If the West Ham one wasn’t then they’re not going to give that.
Imo that’s a pen ! It stops him putting pressure on the keeper even if he can’t get the ball

Hooper and VAR have form shocking ref.
Booked players for minor fouls then identical challenge nothing, caused more problems than the players.

Kalvin Phillips continuing his fine performances at the London stadium, gives the ball to Antonio just in his own half and within 2 mins 1-0

Once again Ipswich self implode

Defender launches the ball back to the keeper.. right up into the sun. Obviously can't catch it.. keeper to be fair does well to clear it but only to Bowen who still has loads of work to do. Runs it into the box and a cool finish

3-1

Always looking to play forward aswell which he does again.. starts off another move which was a very good team move ending up with paquata tapping the ball into the net to make it 4-1
