Nice to see us put up a good fight yesterday against Liverpool inside the library that is Anfield. Best we’ve played away all season and had Yates been fit to start ahead of Remo Freuler in midfield, two of Liverpool’s goals would have never happened. Appalling marking for both goals.

Play like that for the last 6 and we might just stay up!

Cock-a-doodle done…very done and completely plucked in the first 20mins. Goodness. What fun for the neutral. And usually I can’t be bothered with EPL matches.

Just turned on the watch a nip and tuck game at St James’s Park only to see Newcastle 4-0 up inside 20 minutes.

I take it Spurs are being all Spursy?

Oh. Make that 5.
Spurs being Spursy? Well, it is safe to assume Spurs were not terrific, and unlucky to he 5 down after 21 mins :)

Seemed like anytime Newcastle got in final 3rd, it would automatically be a goal.

Just spoke to my lad re yesterdays cost of a day out. Christ we got through some money, but he corrected me on ticket prices. It was £65 each for me and him and £55 for grandson so that £185 For three tickets. He then showed me this.

Ticket prices for the 2023 Champions League final
  • Category 4: €70.
  • Category 3: €180.
  • Category 2: €490.
  • Category 1: €690.
I honestly don’t know where to start.

I'd take two full days at Sunningdale over a Champions League final thanks😉

You’ll have to add on a pretty penny then. £1,100 for 2 days of 36 holes per day.

Unbelievable considering we paid £265 to play both courses over 2 days, including breakfast both mornings and lunch only 4 years ago with the forum.

I'm there in the summer and the day rate with catering is much less than the price of two published green fees. Someone seems to have cut a deal.

But not as good as the forum day😄

I had a bad feeling before the game, only for it to come true.
There is something seriously wrong at Tottenham, it seems rotten to the core with a nasty underbelly.
The pleasing thing about this hammering is that surely it will result in an investigation. Joe Lewis major shareholder in ENIC and others will ask questions. They need look no further than Daniel Levy, his stewardship has seen multiple managers pass through the club. The player recruitment has been disastrous, overseen by people Daniel has recruited.
We don’t deserve Champions League football as confirmed by our performances over a long period.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m still glad we parted ways with Conte, his style of football was awful. The only positive point to come of that were his comments about Tottenham on leaving. There is something seriously wrong there.
Good luck The Toon as they venture into the Champions League. They truly deserve it where Eddie Howe has done a fantastic job. He’s my manager of the season. Eddie has transformed players. Their togetherness and team spirit is evident and second to none.
It’s gonna be a great journey for The Toon and they deserve it. THEY have the best fans in the league.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that win over Bournemouth will mean we stay up

We look a team full of confidence now

Liverpool and the Nigel's this week even 2 points from them would be enough to climb

City the week after so just 11 men on the goal line after going 1-0 down to make sure they win the title

I'd predict we get 40-45 points

But I think the main focus now is to try to win the Europa conference
