How come Ben Foster ended up at Wrexham?
Did their keeper get injured?
Foster is proper milking it & trying to take the limelight now with his selfie stick 🤦‍♂️

What a standard for the pens, got to feel for March, must be horrible.
Fantastic set of penalties but March wont ever forget that, it was a shocker. Thought they were the better side and deserved to win with chances created. With it being an all Manchester final, that opens up 7th place for a european spot.

Had a few beers in the Torch pub yesterday before the game. They told us because it’s a Greene king the pints are cheaper. £7.50 a pint. 😳
When we go to England games at Wembley we usually meet at Kings cross and a have a beer around there, its only 5 stops to wembley and not as expensive. I'd rather starve than buy food and drinks in Wembley Stadium.

Yes, the keeper was injured and he did it mainly for pr for his podcast. According to reports he is not getting much money, his payment is the publicity. It's a full circle story, Foster started there, he finishes there. It fits the story for everyone.

He has mentioned many times on his podcast that he has turned down offers to keep playing, decent money offers. He doesn't want that any more.

It's an interesting one career wise. No need to be a pundit, create your own media future, a bit like Peter Crouch.

My lad was telling me that Foster had retired. He had a chance to play for Newcastle but it never happened for reasons. He was then approached by Wrexham as their Keeper was injured. Am sure he started his career there.Apparently Foster now does podcasts etc which may account for the selfies etc.

Still can't believe fornals managed to score this

When he has time to think his shots aren't the best ... But when he acts on instinct...

Whilst the above about PR is no doubt a huge draw he also had a loan spell as a young player at Wrexham and was spotted by Manchester United on that loan and felt he owed the club for the help leading to his move to OT. No doubt the appearances in the TV documentary particularly around his late penalty save will be making the rumoured low salary worthwhile

Reynolds is certainly showing his cares and has grabbed the passion of the club

And Foster has given some great insights into the club and the owners as well as saving penalties to help them win against County - think he is paid very little there

I wonder what made him so emotional after? I know he loves the place and the fans, do you think he’s leaving at the end of the season and it got on top of him?

I suspect there is some stuff with him behind the scenes we haven't seen IE personally stuff. There is no reason he hasnt featured as much as last season as he still gives everything, his mind seems not we focused .. but clearly wants to give everything

Want him to start against the Mickey's.. he loves scoring against em

For all his virtues, Fornals is one of the worst finishers I've ever seen. Inexpicably bad, as has technical competence in other parts of his game.
He makes Ronny Rosenthal look like Gerd Muller.

Agreed. It's ridiculous, his passing is really good but his finishing is awful

Unless ofc it's an instinctive one
