Going to watch Prem and CL football is expensive , unfortunately it’s not a new thing , money needs to go into the pot to help pay for those star players that fans want to watch help their teams win

There are some fans that will move heaven and earth regardless of cost to go to watch their team in semi finals or finals were trophies are on the line. By sea , land or air there are scores that will find any way they can to get to the stadium and then get a ticket. For many of them it’s the ultimate dream

Just look at the difference today at Wembley - looks packed

I had a bad feeling before the game, only for it to come true.
There is something seriously wrong at Tottenham, it seems rotten to the core with a nasty underbelly.
The pleasing thing about this hammering is that surely it will result in an investigation. Joe Lewis major shareholder in ENIC and others will ask questions. They need look no further than Daniel Levy, his stewardship has seen multiple managers pass through the club. The player recruitment has been disastrous, overseen by people Daniel has recruited.
We don’t deserve Champions League football as confirmed by our performances over a long period.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m still glad we parted ways with Conte, his style of football was awful. The only positive point to come of that were his comments about Tottenham on leaving. There is something seriously wrong there.
Good luck The Toon as they venture into the Champions League. They truly deserve it where Eddie Howe has done a fantastic job. He’s my manager of the season. Eddie has transformed players. Their togetherness and team spirit is evident and second to none.
It’s gonna be a great journey for The Toon and they deserve it. THEY have the best fans in the league.
That sums it up nicely. We were thumped today and massive changes must be on the cards.

It looks much fuller, but the fans don’t have anywhere near as far to travel as the ones from yesterday.

Personally I rate Eddie Howe and I have rated his Bournemouth teams every time they played City. They looked organised. Newcastle now look organised and balanced. Got to say credit must go to the new owners that could of got rid of Eddie and brought in a Marquee manager like Conte 😖
That said look at owners of clubs like Arsenal, City and Newcastle, Brighton. All have owners in the back ground. Now look at Chelsea, Utd, Spurs. I know which I would prefer.

Had a few beers in the Torch pub yesterday before the game. They told us because it’s a Greene king the pints are cheaper. £7.50 a pint. 😳

The new Newcastle owners were the ones that brought in Howe

And Spurs owner could be any further in the background and Arsenal have certainly had issues with Kroenke over the years

I will hold my hands up and say I thought Howe would be terrible at Newcastle, but to say his Bmouth teams were ever organised is a stretch. They conceded 30 goals in 10 games against city with him at the helm…..

They did papas, but he is doing at Newcastle with a better squad what he did at Bournemouth. It astonishes me how they continue to punch above their weight in the prem with the fan base they have.

Been a decent enough game , but not great when trying to finish off the chances - GK’s made some decent saves but a game of half chances

Lottery time now

High quality shootout - shame for March with the one pen that was poor.

Shame for Brighton as they prob edge the chances but didn’t take them

Utd getting the chance to stop City going for the treble

Felt the Brighton keeper dropped a clanger. He'd controlled the situation for his incoming team-mate by retrieving the ball and waiting for them before calmly handing it over. Allowed Weghorst to get the ball and affect March. Think De Gea decided to stop reading War & Peace and scuff up the spot too. Momentary lapse from Brighton keeper although the pen was a shocker!
