I agree, however it still makes me wonder how Manchester City can be called the richest club based on revenue when they struggle to sell out home games, semi and finals compared to Real madrid etc.
I don’t know mate, just pointing out why them & Sheff Utd might not have sold all their tickets.
Personally I think only the final should be at Wembley

Well they've reported their accounts, it must be true.

Yep as true as it’s been all these years , all those PO BOX and Middle East Companies sponsering them but guess it will all come out during the Premier charges that’s happening

Yeah neither do i, it doesnt make sense.

I agree once again thou. The only reason for semi fInals are held at Wembley is financial reasons.
It wasnt long ago we had North/North West teams travelling all the way down here to play a game they could've played nearer to home.

How can you hate Arsenal more than your nearest rivals? Wanting Man City to win as ManU doesnt sound right.

Very easily.

City haven’t been successful for long enough for me to have built up the same level of dislike for them that I have Arsenal. The Arsenal side of the 90’s with Wenger at the helm, and the likes of Keown and Vieira in the ranks, was an absolutely horrible side. I could not stand them, and have genuinely disliked Arsenal as a club ever since.

I would rather anyone won the league than Arsenal and Liverpool. And that includes City.

Well am back from what must be one of the most soulless stadiums ever built. Expensive and I don’t think the fans feel it is as special as it used to be. 69,000 there and there’s been more at division 2 play off games.

I’ve been to cup finals, Tash, and it’s fantastic. But nearly half empty it is bound to lack atmosphere.

I’ve never been a fan of using Wembley for semi finals.

Ave been to a few finals at Wembley and enjoyed them. But the FA charging £65 for a 10 year old. It’s not a cheap day out. Folk look and think ” nope al watch it on the telly”. There was 16,000 empty seats. Lower the prices, get the fans there and they can spend a few quid on food and programmes etc. Thoroughly enjoyed the day with the kids but Wembley don’t tick a lot of boxes for me esp a semi final there.

£65 for a 10 year old is ridiculous.
And yet you’ll get social media fans of other clubs that never go to a game using it to have a dig when you don’t sell all your tickets 🤷‍♂️

Lukaku one match ban overturned by Italian Sports Court of Appeal…

He had already received a yellow card earlier in the cup match against Juventus. His post penalty goal celebration of putting his finger to his mouth to the Juvenile fans was deemed provocative, hence the second yellow. Seems a bit harsh to be given a yellow for those actions but, hey, if that’s how the ref saw it so be it.

But why was the ban overturned? Lukaku had been subject to a barrage of racist chants and, I guess, his actions were understandable. What a fantastic decision by the court of appeal. And what a great way to send a message to fans.

Lukaku is now available for the return leg. Will he be on the receiving end again? Of course he will. Maybe the authorities need to start looking at different punishments for clubs who don’t control their fans. 6 point penalty? Would penalties like that put a stop to the Hillborough/Munich chants?
