Had a bit of a busy day yesterday so missed the game last night. How’s the neutrals enjoying the title race and relegation battle.

Because I am local I would like to see Forest stay up, but unfortunately like Arsenal they have hit a bad patch.
Now we seem out of it I'm enjoying both again

Think the title is citys

Think Leicester and Southampton are gone

Predicted Leicester pre season because they sold so many players recently

Southampton same plus I'd like to nick JWP and lavia when rice goes

Just out of interest. The last four in the FA cup are City, Utd, Sheff Utd and Brighton.

If City and Utd qualify for the Champs league, Brighton qualify for Europe, would Staff Utd Qualify for Europe through the FA Cup.
Nope.
Semi finals have always been irrelevant for European qualification, but now even the runner up doesn't get a spot. It goes to the league.

More if UEFA making sure the biggest teams (PL) always get the spots. Can't have a giant killer in Europe. It'll ruin the brand.

I’m enjoying the title race because it involves a different club for once. That said, I still want City to come out on top because I cannot stand Arsenal. Sorry, Fundy, but I hate your lot with a passion!

The relegation scrap is good because it’s so tight in the bottom half. Southampton missed a big opportunity last night, so I think they’re done for. I still think Leicester have a chance because they have some winnable fixtures, so I think Forest and Leeds will make up the bottom three.

What you think he’s worth and what a Premier League club will be willing to pay may not be the same 😂

I reckon he will go for between 75-80.
Depends who wants him.
I know he is more than just a defensive midfielder, not convinced his box to box yet though.

So realistically its only Liverpool that NEED him. The rest of the BG clubs not in such a rush to dump that amount on him imo.

I think Arsenal could really do with him. He might have been the difference this year.

Imo Xhaka, Party and Odegaard have been immense. The thing they've lacked is experience, a bit like last season against sours.

Rice has just as little experience. I'd like to see him move to see if he develops, but a lot of the buzz for him is he will thrive with better players, yet for England he is still dumped as the holder.

The most important role in the midfield tho.

Every great team has a player who does the dirty work to allow the rest of the team to perform

(Can't spell any of these)
Basquests
Makaelle
Kante
Casemero

Once a team gets that player they perform fantastically

Arsenal have partey now. For years they needed him , however he is 29 noe

Rice will fill the xhaka role or the partey role

Arsenal need squad depth he will add to that midfield

Their first team is class their reserves need work

There is a reason he doesn't miss many games for England at a young age

His best role is Cdm, he can do the driving runs but box to box is misusing him

I agree it's an important role. Just not sure any of the teams will want him simply for depth. 29 isn't old for a CM. Arsenal might accept that xahka can take parteys place short term. Just not convinced they'll spend close to £100m on Rice.

I'd say UTD would be best fit. Can learn from Casemiro who's a few years older so more required cover.

Arsenal suits him. He is the young type of player they are after , also being homegrown is another tick to the box for arsenal to get a first teamer who fills the homegrown quota

I don't think he will be 100 I think 80

But certainly more than the 30 million someone said on here 😂😂😂 for 30 million you might aswell let him see out his contract

I believe we went for JWP in summer and price was 60 million , he is younger.. more caps and slightly better so I'd say 80 is fair

That said give me JWP to replace him along side paquata

Obv I'm biased, but I'd say it would depend what a team is looking for.
Rice is defo in the top couple of DMS, but I actually think JWPs freekicks distract people from how good a player he is. The fact Phillips makes the squad and he doesn't means I wouldn't consider caps to equal value...

He plays countless good balls each game, we just have nobody who can read em 😂

That being said. When we go down. We will be lucky to get 30m.
