I went hignfy and The Cleaner. Both excellent episodes incidentally. Missed quite a second half 😳.

Relieved that Arsenal came back for a point, or more accurately that Southampton didn't get 3.

Arsenal may have snatched a point. But they have just thrown away another two.

Anything less than a win next Wednesday and the title is done and dusted.

The timewasting in second half was interesting, as ref did nothing to speed up keeper. So, after the 57th minute, I thought I'd measure how much time the ball was out of play when Southampton could waste time, but ignoring throw ins, free kicks and goal celebrations. Also added linesman technical fault. Between 57th and 90th minute:

Keeper holding onto ball: 54 seconds
Injury: 3 minutes, 22 seconds
Goal kick: 3 minutes, 9 seconds
Subs: 1 minute, 50 seconds
Technical Fault: 1 minute, 30 seconds

Total: 10 minutes, 45 seconds (but will be more, as there was quite a bit of time wasting before 57th min)
Added time displayed after 90: +8 minutes

Then, in added time, wasted time:
Injury: 3 minutes 10 seconds
Goal kick: 34 seconds

Total: 3 minutes 44 seconds

Extra added time played before final whistle (beyond the 8 minutes): 1 minute 43 seconds

Moral of the story, it really is worth wasting time. The ref will not add anywhere near enough time to make up for it.

Think it's already done. Don't see city not winning another game right now .
Can see them beating Arsenal comfortably on Wednesday.
Still a good season for Arsenal tho,no one would have expected them to finish 2nd & I’m sure they’d have taken top 4 before a ball was kicked.

City have hit that run of form they always do , Arsenal dropping 6 points in the last 3 - unless something remarkable happens then City win at the weekend and Wednesday and it’s all over

Massive chance to win the title as City stumbled early but it just shows that teams just can’t drop too many points now.

Fortunately the moral is not lost on Arteta, which is why arsenal have played like Patrick Cantlay as soon as they have held the lead in every game this season.
I mean, he even rolled one of his (Not) injured players back onto the pitch earlier this season iirc...
One of the goons many unattractive traits under the current regime.

Had a bit of a busy day yesterday so missed the game last night. How’s the neutrals enjoying the title race and relegation battle.

Because I am local I would like to see Forest stay up, but unfortunately like Arsenal they have hit a bad patch.

Just out of interest. The last four in the FA cup are City, Utd, Sheff Utd and Brighton.

If City and Utd qualify for the Champs league, Brighton qualify for Europe, would Staff Utd Qualify for Europe through the FA Cup.
