I don't watch De Gea often enough to know how good he is regularly as a shot stopper. But from what I have seen if part of ten Hag's tactical plans are to play our from the back on a regular basis he probably needs a new 'keeper.
When I a have seen him play he does make some very good saves but he also has had a fair number of fairly high profile errors as well.

Gutting for Leah Williamson to pick up an ACL injury and will miss the World Cup.

quite a few concerns for England with injuries. Bright, Mead, Kirby, Williamson

Well done to the Southampton medical team for not allowing their player to carry on and putting player welfare above results but how on earth hasn't Martinelli been given a card for that challenge? Especially considering the yellows given to the Southampton players for far more innocuous challenges so far.

Refs seem to be lenient on players backing into opponents who are jumping in the air. Potentially worse consequences that a 2 footed lunge, due to potential of broken neck.

Doesn’t Harry Kane do it every match and get away with it

Yep, he's one of the worst for it and refs let them get away with it week after week. Ball goes up in the air, player jumps to clear it, opponent has a look and then nudges them while they're in the air. I can't see how it's not at least a yellow and possibly even a red for endangering an opponent.

Because that's the England captain's trademark foul. Its a red card for my money. It's reckless and dangerous, it fits nicely under the "endangering of an opponent"

I know I should want Southampton to lose as need them to stay below us but what the hell is going on at arsenal

They are gifting city the league
