My top 6 would be...

1. Disney Palm, Orlando Florida.
2. Mongomerie Course, Carton House, Co. Kildare.
3. Galgorm Castle, Co. Antrim.
4. Erskine GC, Renfrewshire.
5. O'Meara Course, Carton House, Co. Kildare.
6. Moyola Park GC, Co. Londonderry.

All great courses.

In order
Old Course St Andrews
The Berkshire Red
St Georges Hill
Woodhall Spa
West Hill
Bearwood Lakes

Honoury mention for Coombe Hill, Jubilee St Andrews, Hayling, Hindhead, Chart Hills and Salisbury & Wilts.

Most disappointing Castle Course St Andrews. Fantastic setting, some great holes, but Mickey Mouse greens.:(

My course would be in there as well.

Closest I have ever got to playing The Old Course was to watch guys teeing off on the 1st and playing the 18th last month, looks amazing.

You must play it. The experience standing on the first tee is like no other. You have a good chance of hitting the fairway as well. Also the New and Jubilee are cracking courses.

Ganton
Hollinwell
Woburn Duchess
Woburn Dukes

I have had a good year for away days got ganton and holliwell booked in again for next year along with the Old Course woodhall and beau desert lindrick forest pines enville all under consideration.

I will never be able to afford it in this life time unfortunately richart. I can only dream. :)

For quality/prestige -

In no particular order...

Wentworth West
Wentworth Edinburgh
Woburn Dukes
Woburn Marquess
Hankley Common

It's only because I'm not sure whether it was this year that Bearwood isn't on that list. And West Hill would have been if I'd been a bit more organised!

For sheer enjoyment (and everything that's great about Golf!)

The Shire London still wins hands down!
