Only the 2nd week in April and came home to be greeted with "ooh youre a bit pink arent you, thats gonna hurt later"

Turns out I needed suncream today, anyone else looking a bit like a lobster?

Picked the wrong day to start digging out the pond I filled in 10 years ago because of the risk to grandchildren.
Half way through I said to the head gardener that there was no way I was going to fill it in for the great grandchildren.
Sweltering here in South Ayrshire

I have been lying in the garden. I have a glow on. Lovely.

Played golf too. 36 points. Ha. Rubbish. TK, 43, rubbish. RD, 46 ha, not enough.

47 for the winner. Yep, 47.

Bit nippy at 7.30 when I teed off (and slight frost at 6.50 when warming up) and so had thin jumper on and hat so I'm all good. Think tomorrow is definitely golf shirt only and so will give the arms the full cream

Come and try Cumbria, more likely to need goretex than sunscreen!

Been needing cream for a couple of weekends now in Cambridge, in the habit now for the rest of the summer.

I tend to wear it more than needed and try and stick out the sun as I hate sunburn.
