I haven't watched for years, and have no interest in the main awards, but if Kevin Sinfield isn't included as someone worthy of praise, it will be a travesty.
Isn’t there the Helen Rollason award for such things?I haven't watched for years, and have no interest in the main awards, but if Kevin Sinfield isn't included as someone worthy of praise, it will be a travesty.

Googled the Helen Rollason Award, which is for 'outstanding achievement in the face of adversity'. I suppose that the adversity wasn't his, but his outstanding achievement highlighted the courageous way other fine sports people were facing their adversity, while raising funds to combat the illness in future. So I agree he should receive it.
Phil, I agree that arguments going round in circles are pointless. It would be great to see you (and the other mods) apply such a quick “stop” to this across the board on all threads.
Who's that then?Ben Stokes.
Ben Stokes for me...
Amanda! And I thought you were a lady.
Mrs Hobbit loves him.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/sports-personality/63881086Anybody tried voting - can't find any means to do so via the publicised methods.
Got in now - but it wasn't available (to me) for about 15 mins after the "vote now" message came up.
Haven't read the thread but I've just voted for him as well.
