I dont know periscope buy yes they are linked.
In essence you could turn up to a meet, video your 10 seconds shots of arrival, rolls etc. Play your round and capture as many shots as you want through the round then take snaps in the clubhouse afterwards and they will all show in order. I did it at the pro 12 final in Belfast back in May showing my full weekend of boozing and watching the build up and post game stuff. Did similar in Paris when I was over in January.
It's all good fun.
And does that only go to people you follow, at the minute I've set my settings to let "everyone" see anything and let me see "anything", not sure if that's OK but it seems obvious whilst learning to see as many variables as possible.

From what I can tell, you have 2 ways to communicate via snapchat.
1. Send a snap to people of your choosing. When they've looked at it, it disappears (except they can 'replay' it once for free, or can screenshot it - so don't send anything rude thinking they can't keep it
)2. Add a snap to your story, and anyone following you can choose to look at it. It stays viewable for 24hrs.
I think option 2 is what will work best for things such as forum meets.
If you've added any of the people mentioned above, what you're looking at is what they've added to their story (unless Rickie Fowler is your mate and he's sending you private messages
)

Cheers for that - I've just followed you both! Only signed up to Snapchat after this post started and have to say i rally enjoy it. The storyboard features are a brilliant idea.

Been thinking about this and wondering what if we had a GMForum account that maybe a few people who go to lots of meets have access to? We could test and see if it's possible to be logged in on multiple devices. A mixture of short videos and pictures just enough to provide a flavour of the day. that was my perception of it too, i can imagine the scenes if the mrs sees snapchat downloaded on my phone! May as well get Tinder at the same time!

As I said, I know what I'm like and I had intentions of posting a few from Gog Magog yesterday but I just forgot all about it - plus I feel a bit self conscious getting the phone out to take pics and videos when others are around.
It would also be a right royal pita logging in and out of personal/forum accounts.
The ideal scenario - although I don't know if it can work this way - would be if it were possible to set up an event that anyone in the right location (according to phone location services) could post to.
Snapchat has live stories but I assume snapchat themselves set them up, otherwise there would be hundreds.
