Sometimes you'll likely just have to limit participation to suit the tee times you've obtained. That's where seniority in the group comes into play, at least for our groups. The coordinator(s) always have a good idea who is playing the next week - they ask the players the week previous, ie, ask this Saturday for next Saturday. It's just not show up on Saturday and expect to play. The coordinator(s) send out the draw two or three days in advance - if you're not on the draw, you'll need to find another game!We are - 100%. We are going for tee times at the same time as other members.
And, rather obviously, we only get as many tee times as we can book…and so for instance this coming Saturday we have 36 wishing to join in, but if we could only book, say, 6 tee times in our broad timescales, then only 24 would be in the draw for these tee times.
That hasn’t happened yet, and so I’m not sure how we’d handle it. I’m pretty sure that the only ones who would probably be guaranteed a place in the draw would be the three organisers…none of the rest of us have a right to be in the rollup draw more than anyone else, so we would be in the draw according to first come first served in the order we signed up to be included.
