Random Irritations

I am personally offended 😎

I absolutely 100% refuse to be on any parent-type WhattsApp group for my kids' school, despite my wife's urgings. exactly because it is nothing but the most ridiculous moaning. Some of these people need to be given compulsiory jobs with longer hours or somrthing because they clearly have nothing to fill their life other than to complain that the most minor inconvenience or problem that little Tarquin and Guinevere faced today is some sort of massive issue.
The wife is in it and passes the more stupid comments on...I dread to think of all the stuff she keeps me away from.

Driving instructors.

Mate, why book someones first lesson at rush hour?!
Maybe it's the only time the learner is available...
Maybe it's not their 1st lesson but their 1st time out on a busier road
Maybe have a little patience and empathy as we all had to start somewhere....

I learn't on a disused airfield

My random irritation doesn't have to irritate you BTW (y)

We've had strong north westerlies since last night which are weirdly cold. It's been clear skies all morning, until it just darkened over and we had a hefty sleet shower. Now it's clear again. I guess this has just blown off the Brecon Beacons which are above 40 mins drive in that direction! :-)

Strange day.
its called Spring :ROFLMAO:

As annoying as it is (and it is). it's probably a good idea in the long run.

If we only teach them how to drive on quiet, empty streets then we're not really prepping them for the realities of clutch based cramps in rush hour car parks (for thems still driving manuals that is).

Agree wholeheartedly.

My reference is to the first lesson, never sat behind a wheel before. Road driving is essential, as is motorway tuition, but they are dangerous first out and not apologising for sitting behind an unoredicabke driver doing 22 in a 40 when I have things to do.

Definitely, if it's first time out then there's not a lot of point in siting in rush hour traffic for 50% of the lesson.

My sister is such a poor driver (I use that loosely as she never passed een after aboyt 40 lessons) that even after multiple lessons she'd still be doing 20 in a 40. Some people just aren't cut out for it no matter first or 10th lesson.

Despite both my wife and I being right handed, when she puts the knifes and forks in the cutlery drawer she puts the knives to the left of the forks……infuriating
But surely thats the correct order.

When you talk of cutlery you speak of a "knife and fork"....ergo the knife is first, followed by the fork...so the knife goes to the left of the forks in the drawer. Spoons to the right of the forks.

I mean....what happens if one of you is right handed and the other left handed....how do you expect things to be organised then?

Maybe this needs its own thread. :ROFLMAO:

Please, nooo!

There’s enough weirdness in the OCD thread without adding to it… :ROFLMAO: 🤪
