Why is everyone SO precious these days?

My boy mentioned the flies and I told him that's what you get outside, and we carried on with our day. Simple.

I see the same parents at pick up talking to teachers like they haven't got enough on when dismissing the kids, just get your kids and go home, can't be something everyday surely?

The only time my mom went to school was for parents evening.

The company has done some “restructuring” since a JV started last year and for the last 8 weeks many of us have been on notice for redundancy due to roles going and skill pools reducing

over 500 are leaving this week and it’s quite sad to see all the leaving cards and messages from people who imo have been critical over the years for the business

Going to be interesting to see the grand plan of which work we will need to pick up

We have had mention of restructuring again, the last time was 2023 and I survived then. I've used the redundancy calculator and the figures look excellent for my 20 years service but the thought of starting again somewhere new is horrible.

In the past, parents didn’t complain that their kids got wet whilst on an outdoor adventure surely?

Lawnmower was cutting out so took it for a service, picked it up this evening, it did one strip before it packed in again!
