Played golf whilst we were away with someone who was a soft fruit importer into the UK. He said that the weather over the past 3 winters on the southern coast of Spain up to the Portuguese border has been an absolute disaster with heavy rains and cold temperatures meaning they have had 3 successive almost total crop failures. It has been ruinous for their industry. We have had friends repeatedly abandoning golf holidays due to the courses being shut.
I wouldn't risk that area before mid April these days - you can get lucky but nothing worse than a sunny golf holiday in the pouring rain and cold.

(Having said that, although the weather was wonderful in Abu Dhabi, the enforced extra holiday and air raids mean that we won't be rushing back there either).

The impossible task of trying to speak to a Gov department through their phone lines and ridiculous hold message. I have been on hold to a dedicated line for the specific task I need to complete, you can't do this task online so you have to go though the dedicated phone line. In the 40mins I was on hold there was no music just the constant repeated phrase "you can only do this activity through your online portal" Yet the online portal option for this is greyed out and states you have to contact this dedicated line and 15mins of me getting told off for having to ring this line in the first place they literally eventually said "well I supposed i'll have to do this for you, as YOU clearly can't do it your self!

I hate people!
