Indeed. I have the same frustration when I'm a walker as well. It just hits harder when I'm running.

This is what i'm worried about! Got another appointment tomorrow for referral to rehab specialist which means I can finally get my scans done. Really don't want it to be anything long term but I feel that is overly optimistic as this has been going on for nearly 6 months already

Sincerely hope all goes well for you. Apart from 2 lots of about 2-3 months, I have lost nearly 5 years of golf.

Resurfacing work in our club car park going on and it’s disorganised chaos. The idiots have left some parking down the front, wide enough for a car to get along and to drive in to a space. But they’ve not left any space to turn once they area is full.
As it’s a blind area from the entrance you don’t know it’s full until you get in to the problem area. So you’re left trying to reverse slalom round a blind bend with no one providing any assistance.
Club notice said that someone would be doing “Traffic Management Duties” but clearly not.
I don’t mind that the work is being done, it did need fixing but jebus they’ve made a mess of the remaining parking.
As an aside, I did laugh that the resurfacing is just pouring about a 50mm layer of tar on top of the old stuff and rolling it. Next time we’ll have no kerbs left as the road will be the same height.

Just had a tooth out. A biggie that had root canal work on it a good few years ago. It was inevitable but it did not come away easily and I feel thoroughly beaten up. Worse thing, no hot food or drinks for 24hrs to let the gum heal.
I was recommended to take paracetamol but to also dissolvable asprin. Swill the asprin around the mouth. No problem with taking both at the same time. Confirm with a pharmacist if you’re unsure.

Our local tennis club is having two courts re-done. During the awful weather they team doing it have been there every day. They are now up to the point where the new all weather surface can be laid. Everything is ready. Rolls of stuff on the newly surfaced tarmac all ready to be unwrapped and laid. Courts marked out ready. The club told a full team would be there today. Beautiful day. Are they there? Nope!

I had to take my dad to a dentist on Saturday, over in Birmingham. Must've been a special clinic because everybody was having teeth out, one by one they came out of the room absolutely flying, as they'd all been sedated, not fully knocked out but enough to make them not feel it, and be a bit woozy.
When it was my dad's turn, he came out half asleep and just bobbing about in his chair, not really all there. The dentist asked how West Brom had got on, as he could see I was looking at the result...
Quick as a flash, my old man shouted out, "they lost 2-1," and then burst into laughter.
At least it got us out of there quicker.

I’m sure a dentist knows their stuff. But, aspirin thins blood, I would not do that until the bleeding, if you have any, has stopped.

No swilling around allowed yet. I've taken my first paracetamol, after 24hrs they recommend swilling salt water. I suspect I could do the dissolvable aspirin at that point. It's one of the big teeth at the back so the hole is a decent size. They need the blood not to leak so I have to let nature do its bit for the next 24hrs, give it a bit of assistance after that.

They aren't just on the Southbank though...
Many are very nice and will thankyou for letting them past, many though are very entitled and get very upset if you dare break their stride whether it be because youre not stopping at a green traffic light for you or on the pavement walking with a 90kg washer dryer on a barrow and your tools as well.

I had a cracked wisdom tooth out last year.
I kept the cotton wool ciggie filter thing in my mouth and bitten down hard on it for almost 3 hours.
A few hours later I had a bowl of soup and some bread. Keeping everyone to the other side of my mouth was easy to do.
The dentist advised to take 2 paracetamol just before I went to have it done, and then take them after the alloted time if needed.
The following day, I was only slightly more solid food , but again trying to keep everything to the other side.
The bottle of Corsodyl (mintish flavoured) was on standby, but not used. It is like a nuclear bomb going off in your mouth, it kills all bacteria.....good and bad

First things first...I appreciate that we have no devine right to park outside our house...
There is a space outside ours and a space outside next door too...ample room for 2 SUV size cars....
And, yet, there is a car parked slap bang in the middle of the spaces, barely enough room for a SmartCar either end...
Why? What's wrong with parking so you leave enough room for someone else?
Because they're thick and so wrapped up in their own little world that they haven't got a clue as to what's going on around them.
So now when people start getting home from work there will be 2 cars looking for somewhere to park instead of one....
Jeez I hate people sometimes......

We're opposite a High School and it's often bedlam with people parked up to my drive and opposite my drive.
When I reverse out, with aid of the camera, I find I'm parallel within inches. I usually look at the drivers for a few seconds It’s amazing how they're fully occupied with their phones.
