Nothing can possibly be so bad you would consider crossing over to the dark side! I went from Apple to Android for the duration of one contract, many years ago, and returned at the earliest opportunity. Found Android an awful operating platform in comparison.

I saw your irritation regarding Maps and can’t understand what’s happened there. I use both Maps and Google Maps in CarPlay almost daily, and haven’t noticed any similar problem. Might be worth uninstalling the app and having another go.

Yeah, I'll try the reinstallation. It's been so bad that I've gone back to BMW iDrive nav which, surprisingly, has massively improved and is showing all the traffic flow even though I don't pay for the subscription.

I was fixing a leak in the over bath shower unit this morning, when putting it back together I dropped one of the screws which hit the bath side, then hit the footstool and bounced in to the toilet on the other side of the room disappearing round the bend.

A friend emailed a local golf club asking about membership for us both, that was 2 days ago, still not heard anything back

It's that trivia that pays their wages though so even if they don't deal with it directly they should make sure that someone is dealing with it. It's nuts and bolts stuff, get the basics right.

Absolutely maddens me this. I’ve sent off several applications enquires and even now months later 2 clubs simply didn’t bother to respond to initial enquiries or the follow up chase emails.

In days gone by it could be excused by the fact clubs were run by members on a part time basis. Now though, many employ well paid managers so there really is no excuse.

This is my frustration the club me in question had full time club Secretary’s and managers. One of the clubs still member run with a part time Club manager in reduced hours couldn’t have been more helpful in giving me info and options available! Guess where my money will be going.

Mrs driving and stuck behind a cyclist peddling along with his arms folded - selfish idiot; later…getting bullied by a Range Rover driver driving up tight and close behind as she was going up a slip road to join a dual carriageway…what is it with Range Rover (and BMW) drivers (OK at least some) that makes them think they are superior and the rest of us should get out of their way. Really freaked my Mrs out

@SwingsitlikeHogan drivers who bully like that cause accidents, makes me angry. When my daughter was learning to drive I told her when that happens to her, as it will, then turn your rear view mirror away so you can't see them that close to you. You can say don't look, but you will. If you move the mirror that temptation to glance is removed, takes the pressure away. It's what I do when it happens to me.

Not very nice but does prompt the thought, was he inferring that your wife’s speed needed to be faster to join the dual carriageway?
