I once braked hard at the exact moment the traffic update warned of a " huge tailback" on the motorway I was travelling. I thought "Phew!" and then spotted the driver in the car behind, not looking ahead, look up and mouth "Oh f***!" as he slammed on but still rear ended me.Traffic reports (yes LBC, I'm talking about you but other stations are available and just as bad).
"There are delays on the A xx due to an accident that occurred earlier". Well it wouldn't be due to one that might happen later, would it?
Numpties. Wonder who writes their scripts.![]()
Both were company cars. His a Ford, mine a Vauxhaull (30/40 years ago), mine driveable, his towed.
He rang me that afternoon to say his company would settle ASAP, he was OK, checked I was OK, and that he'd ordered a new car - my model Vauxhaull based on the outcome of the crash!
