Ive been to Boa Vista about 5 times, love it
It’s the reason I do winter golf trips, and before that ski holidays. I didn’t used to mind winter but, now I’m getting older, I really dislike the cold.

That’s exactly where we’re going. We’re staying at the Riu Touaregin Boa Vista.
Just fancies something different a few months when we were looking and that just stood out and have since heard good things from others. Literally can’t wait to go now thinks it’s only 33 days away now.

Thats where we stayed.
We did adults only, and well worth it for the quiet and extra pool.
It is getting a ltitle tired now, but still a nice place. Just don't expect to go into the sea much off that beach. The surf is immensely strong.

That’s what we’ve done paid the extra for the adults only as we just wanted that extra bit of quiet.

Its worth it. The adults only pool is nice as well, along with the bar thats there which is also open a little later than the others.Small world aye

The worst thing about it, is the 6hr flight on a short haul airplane. When you see the buildings as you land you will understand why the airport is so small and how poor the island is.
We also did a taxi to the hotel rather than the coach each time.

To be fair my last flight in May was 21hrs so I don’t mind 6hrs on a little one. The Mrs on the other hand it’ll be her longest ever flight and she’s not a good flier
Be Interesting to see that as we land as I imagine it’s only real economy is tourism.

Started feeling a bit off-colour yesterday. Someone mentioned that "there's a lot of it about". Dug out a test. Sure enough double red line of shame (and, no, I don't mean I'm pregnant...)
There are a number of irritations about this.
Firstly, I feel a bit rubbish. Nothing terminal, but still not great.
Secondly, I have a long arranged game with some old friends this Thursday at a nice course which is now, at best, in the balance.
Thirdly, checking the timeline etc, I almost certainly caught it during my attendance at the West Ham game on Friday evening... the gift that keeps on giving!!

It's funny, low temperatures i think C and high temperatures F. I've no idea why.

Buses which don’t just not run to a timetable, they don’t turn up at all. Especially when the operator website “live tracker” is telling you they have.

I've spilt paint on my shorts at work, quite a bit . I'll try washing them later but I suspect they are done for. Very irritating as they a pair I really like.
