Random Irritations

I'm a serious diet soda drinker. For the last year or two you could pick up 3 cases of Diet Coke, Pepsi Max etc 3 cases for £24. They've dropped that now and they are basically £11.50 a case or almost £35 for 3 cases. I've stopped buying those completely. I can still get sugar free 7up for £3 a case less.....diet Dr Pepper for £2 a case less. I drink enough diet sodas to practically fund the whole Coke company..... why didn't they just raise the price by a "little bit"....I'd have kept buying them?

Ditto. I get through around 4 cans of diet 7-up a day. Currently paying around 70 cents a can. Crazy thing is I can get a multi-pack of beer at 31 cents a can.

They sometimes put the cases on offer,I then stock up.
Pepsi & Coke Zero just aren’t the same.

Honestly we’re getting fleeced over here.
They don’t put things up by a few pence like they use to,it’s 20p each time.
The supermarkets basically dictate what people are buying by the prices.

A guy in our group admits to 3L per day.
There was a bottle of Penderyn single malt at the bar from a hole in one and he was given a snifter. His face contorted as it passed his nostrils. He poured it into his Coke, sipped it and said "Ooh, not bad".
🙄

When people say that driving standards are dropping even though people have always said that.

The vast majority of car drivers are fine, there has always been poor, inconsiderate drivers out there.

I’m more concerned about e-bike delivery drivers in cities riding on pavements or without lights at night.

I agree 100% with you, and can assure you it's not just your area.
I think it's all down to the huge reduction in traffic or even normal Police cars out cruising.
You know you will highly unlikely to be caught doing anything on the roads these days aparts from speeding by the camera at the set places and you forget it's there.
The days of a gentl piece of advise from the Police are long gone.

I don't think you needed to add anything after delivery.
E-bikes are an accident waiting to happen, to them or everyone around them on the roads.

Putting coke in a single malt is heresy.
But if you're going to do it, may as well be Penderyn. Vile stuff.

Yes they want dash cam footage snitches to do their work for them.

😳
How do you reckon that?. I doubt that Dash cam evidence is really offered to Police unless the offerer has considered themselves well and truly hard done by another’s driving, e.g. been involved in accident considered to be other persons fault, or something dangerous to the offerer.
So hardly “ snitching”.
And such behaviour being committed in front of marked Police cars is relatively rare.
However, traffic patrols had a preventative effect, and it’s true that their absence now being known has emboldened lower standards of driving.

Today Ave sprayed 12x4ft panels. Another 8x 6ft panels. Replaced all the 4ft panels.
Suffice to say me body is broken.
Tomorrow, me and missis T and family are Emptying a Rammed shed in to a skip. Sunday am Back at me sons spraying the panels again and fine tuning a rammel laid fence in the first place.
I don’t think my body will carry me through to Monday.
😖
