When I was on Virgin back in Watford, it was fibre to the cabinet and then COAX to the house.
It's only in the last few years that Virgin have been laying fibre to the premises.

I agree with LT: the government should force sharing of vital infrastructure (with appropriate reimbursement to the companies that originally laid it).

Either lane, they're both for straight on.
Don't indicate right but indicate left when pass the exit before the one required.
In fact, in my head, there would never be a reason to indicate right on any roundabout, if only all motorists knew how roundabouts actually work!

The issue is when it comes to sharing infrastructure is cost

Virgin etc pay for the install costs and other ISP can use the backbone but it’s going to cost them

Virgin also use others networks as well

Outside ours open reach laid bt fibre and community fibre in same trench or they share

Anyways bt kept saying not available to me

Community fibre didn't so went with them lol idiots

Then they "launched" it at a lot more price.

For ref I pay £30 (£5 of which is for premium package just to have their mesh units) so £25 it would be a month .. 1gb broadband

You will find this is mainly drivers of a certain age. It is was what was taught at one time.

If you take the 2nd junction (zebra being third) there's a High School. Pre 8.30am and post 3pm its traffic bedlam.
Experience has taught me to go left hand lane but signalling right until I pass J2 then indicate left for J3. If you start from lane 2 there's inevitably someone on inside lane negotiating the whole roundabout.

My sister got taken out by a bus a couple of years ago doing this trick, in central Manchester. The driver disputed it so his insurance wouldn't pay. It went to court but unluckily for them my sister is both stubborn and a law lecturer. She represented herself and knew how to do it properly. Even more unluckily for the driver the judge knew the junction, looked at the route the bus was on and realised exactly what the driver had done. The judge pulled the driver to pieces.

My sister won at a canter, insurance paid in full. Not quite the 6 months ban you were wanting but a fair bit of comeuppance 😊

Not for me, I'd never be in the inside lane whilst indicating right.
 
Went to view a "new" motor on Friday with the wife, she wanted to come, honestly! Got there and it was filthy. Outside and, worst of all, inside. I ran my finger on the dash and it was BLACK. I was going to have a drive in it, but after that, no chance. £8.5K for a grubby car, I don't think so.
THat said we had a lovely drive through the hills. Fab views!
 
Selfish moron next door parking that ridiculous van again.

This is why I took the time to turn my car round after our day out knowing I had to take the girls swimming tomorrow. Just knew that prat would return the van again like last Saturday night.

You honestly think a £5k claim including costs will impact anything? They're broke due to dubious actions over years, wastage and spending a fortune on 20mph zones that aren't needed. The state of the roads is a priority and the negative impact of it causes normal working people serious hardship.

The roads won't be fixed unless there's a financial reason for them to take action.

The bottom line is I pay tax for safe roads and they haven't provided it. Those roads have caused a serious damage on numerous occasions and they will pay for it.

How do 20mph roads cost “a fortune”? Couple of signs, a bit of road paint, job done. If they save one life, it’s money well spent.
 
On discovering/realising after booking hold luggage for an EasyJet flight to Rome that the standard hold luggage weight is not 23kg for all EasyJet flights...but that for some flights to some destinations it is 15kg. Fortunately, and after much grumbling and cussing (by my mrs mainly), I found out how to change my hold luggage weight...at a cost of course - but there you go. Just as well we noticed before turning up at Gatwick with overweight luggage and paying a premium to have the increase.
