Sorry. We don't get out much.We were at Hand and Flowers recently and there was a couple seating near us acting like drunk teenagers in Weatherspoons
At one stage she straddled him grinding and feeding him food
Waiter asked for them to calm it down a bit and show the rest of the diners a bit of respect , she just swore at him
It was then the Maitre D came over and asked them to check the terms of the voucher they were using , they have two choices to stay and pay for the rest of the food themselves or leave now
How do 20mph roads cost “a fortune”? Couple of signs, a bit of road paint, job done. If they save one life, it’s money well spent.

Published figure of £32million in Wales. Estimates vary up to £5million to reverse some after the backlash.
Not massive in the overall scheme of government, but they keep telling us how skint we are.
Two shocks.
1) No photographic evidence offered
2) A place called The Hand & Flowers has a Maitre D!!![]()
As to the second point, as it is Tom Kerridges Michelin starred pub in Marlow it may well do.Two shocks.

Indeed. How do 20mph roads cost “a fortune”? Couple of signs, a bit of road paint, job done. If they save one life, it’s money well spent.
Indeed.
The inconvenient truth about driving more slowly is that it kills and injures less people.

Welsh 20mph limit: 100 fewer killed or seriously hurt in first year
Ex-minister says it shows policy was the most successful road safety initiative in modern times.www.bbc.co.uk
When you think about it, there are not so many pedestrians, cyclists and children hanging around on the motorways.Using your basic logic, shall we reduce speed limits to 40mph on motorways?
Well no as they are restricted roads and you don't get people walking along side and crossing them, for examples.Using your basic logic, shall we reduce speed limits to 40mph on motorways?
Somone at work was trying to tell me it's too difficult to drive at 20 rather than 30Indeed.

Drive slower, speed kills. That's a fair point. What about A Roads which are the most dangerous in the country?
Any speed limit is a compromise. Lower speeds are safer. So why choose 20? Why not 15, or 10? Where do you draw the line?Drive slower, speed kills.
I've no problems with a 20 limit in urban areasAny speed limit is a compromise. Lower speeds are safer. So why choose 20? Why not 15, or 10? Where do you draw the line?
Have we not been over this before?Using your basic logic, shall we reduce speed limits to 40mph on motorways?
