Random Irritations

Lewis Hamilton (again) with his support for Just Stop Oil protestors. Man who flies around the world on a private jet, is sponsored by an energy company (Petronas) and works in a sport that flies hundreds, if not thousands, of people and equipment all around the world supports stopping oil. Hypocrite.

Would that be the private jet he sold 4 years ago?

If it isn't his, it will be corporate or rented. He isn't going standard or by train is he? F1 as a whole is a massive polluter and he is part of it.

So is golf to be fair, F1 do develop a lot of tech to improve efficiency in normal cars which helps reduce emissions

However i do agree I don't like Lewis

If anyone wants to have a pop at all the F1 drivers jetting around in their private jets, you could start with Max Verstappen. The other one is Alonso.
If you're having a go at Lewis because you don't like Lewis, fair enough but don't forget his daily driver is a Mercedes EQS which is electric

Oh my dislike of Lewis is nothing to do with his jetting around more his whiny attuide over the years

The noises made by tennis players. I am watching Gracheva v Sabalenka on TV right now, and the screams are actually distracting. o_O
I had a moan to my Mrs about the racket Sabalenka was making…not sure how it isn’t considered unsporting conduct by being distracting and intimidating to the opponent…yes intimidate through your tennis but not by screaming at them.

Saw what you did there :-)

I'm off to play tennis shortly - might try some shrieking to see if it works! Probably just give me a sore throat!

People who complain about criminal misdemeanours to the persons employer. Usually this means the parliamentary watchdog but today a BBC presenter has been accused. If it is a criminal act, then report it to the police. If they got stalked by a Tesco assistant would they report it to Tesco HR?

I wasn't having a go at Hamilton because I don't like him, it was for being a hypocrite. If Verstappen, Alonso or any of the others start making statements about supporting Just Stop Oil then I'll say the same about them.

Agree. Can't stand sanctimonious virtue signallers like Hamilton and Ginge & Whinge. If he resided in the UK rather than a tax haven so his large tax bills contributed to UK plc that would give him a lot more leeway to preach and be less hypocritcal

Having just read the article, it looks to me like some (of legal age) got thousands from someone but spunked it away and now his family want someone to blame.

Jobsworths. Going to Hastings today for the beer festival. Had a ticket for the 9:47 train but got early to London Bridge so jumped on the 9:17 train. The ticket guard came to check tickets and it bounced and he said we have to buy a new ticket. Wasn’t to keen on that to put it mildly, and said we could get off instead and wait for the right train.

He had us getting off at the next station, coming back to our seats making sure we got off. Now, that was a tiny station in the middle of nowhere, and I’m guessing he can recite the train times in this line in his sleep, so he would’ve known that the next train didn’t actually stop where he had us getting off.

As we’re standing on the platform we can see our actual train to Hastings pass by as we had to wait to go back towards London again in order to get another train.

Spoke to platform staff as we got back to the station where we could catch the next one and they made sure we wouldn’t have an issue again, despite us now having missed our actual train. They also told us to send a complaint to the company.

What a Rick with a P in front.

Lewis paid £24m in tax last year,

So how much tax did Lewis pay last year?

This is the random irrations thread facts are not welcome here... Keep to daily mail fake information stories only
We’ll ignore the £20million of his own money he gave to charity last year, as he can write that off against his tax burden!
