Packing... I literally hate packing for travel knowing you have a finite space and weight allowance to fit everything that is required and can't be left out.
Not all providers have no roaming charges for the US. They bundle them up as an extra charge, often quite high if you are there for a couple of weeks.

Op cancelled, no knees were harmed or fixedI’m due to have a left knee cartilage op on Monday, (postponed from a month ago)
Now in the 18 months since I went on the list, my left knee has recovered to the point that I’m wondering if I need the op.
In the last couple of weeks, my right knee has gone west big time , exactly the same symptoms, just in the other knee.
Really hoping that the consultant can take a good look at the right knee instead

Pack everything and chuck it in the car.
The downside is now when I go on holiday I have to always pack a coat.
And I’m going to Bournemouth next week for 2 nights don’t quite have the same ring as a fortnight in the Maldives

My Mrs loves it has her little packing cubes and is always amazed how much room the has left in her suitcase. But she forgets she’s filled mine half full with her crap as well

.It’s amazing when I have a little case ready to go and the Mrs has the same size case just for shoes.
Last year we took the air fryer in case she didn’t like their cooker.

Sounds about right a small case for showed, straighteners, hair dryer and toiletries. Then one for clothes! And still has to squeeze crap in mine

We book a big house in Dorset every February for 2 weeks and the family come and go as they please.
Last year I had the Mrs her mum and one of my daughters and had to take the 7 seater to fit all the luggage in.
And they got a washing machine in the house.
I reckon about 25% of the stuff taken even got used

Do people actually have his and hers cases? We always try and split our stuff between the 2 cases in case one goes astray. At least we will both have some clothes to wear when we get there - we do stop short of doubling up on toiletries though!

If I suggested that to my Wife she would disown me. She definitely has a packing disorder everything has its own little packing cube and goes into specific places in her suitcase if I even suggested putting some of mine in there I think she’d need counselling

My Mrs seems to forget that cause she won’t fly I have taken the kids away on my own multiple times and always had to pack for the 5 of us coming home.
Apparently packing to come home is easy though is the response I get when I remind her

No point in using an e sim if your provider has no roaming charges as many don’t have any in Europe including ours. However further afield there are very few normal monthly packages that have no roaming charges worldwide, the providers will allow use to use your UK allowance at a daily fee but an e sim is normally cheaper.

Always sensible to split clothes over two cases. If you have ever lost one bag in transit and one of you has all your clothes and the other has to spend 2 or 3 days wearing the clothes they travelled in, I assure you the next time you will split the clothes across two bags.
