Usually it’s the grammar police that irritate but now we’re splitting hairs over pronunciation. Bit odd when you’ve got Brits in Cornwall sounding nothing like Brits in Newcastle.

My shower at home has decided of the 4 heat settings it has only 2 will now work. Colder than the snow covered peaks of Everest or hotter than the fires of Mordor! So your only real choices if freeze your arse cheeks or burn your balls

This is the first time I've ever heard of a shower that doesn't have a way to set any arbitrary temperature you wish. I'm staggered that a manufacturer thinks just 4 possible settings will suit everyone.My actual irritation today is:

Not sure about trillions but the UK accepted the use of the US (short) billion in the 70s.Wasnt it if he can drive there value from 1.5 Trillion to 8 Trillion dollars?
Accepting the US Trillion is different to UK Trillion, thats still a huge increase he has to generate. Especially when you see the Chineseeating into their market and profits at an alarming rate.

Is it one of these horrid (IMO) ‘not quite/ a bit of’ colours car manufacturers seem to have decided we like. The kinda grey one especially seems perfect camouflage for driving at dusk or in fog.
I think language in general is getting terrible. Well ask them what a leper is as well. I just tested this theory on Mrs M, she explained what dusk was perfectly then asked what’s a bloody Leper !

Sadly she’s Irish so typically her family are all bloody Kopites so she knows that one too well
