Random Irritations

Following from the above, the amount of people who buy stuff on social media, especially products claiming to be medicinal. Today's seizure of fake diet medicine is a very good reason why not to do so.
And then they come on TV saying they've been physically damaged, or scammed. The mind boggles.

Mate of mine bought some medication online to help him stop smoking. It’s fuddled his mind as well as making him a manic depressive. From being just an ordinary guy he’s now very odd.

Just read a piece on sky news it states.

According to government statistics published in July, 262 prisoners were released in error in the 12 months to March 2025 - a 128% increase from 115 the previous year.

Now having read the article it suggests a few reasons why some prisoners were wrongly released, and some were due to government policy amongst others. But the worrying thing about the read was, some of the prisoners wrongly released went onto commit horrendous crimes. 🙁

Bring back the death penalty.

The worst aspect is how someone like that only got a tiny sentence and has been deported after barely 3 months inside. People got double that for posting some tweets.

Heathrow airport bar.
I know, but.....
You expect a slight fleece but...
£7.95 a pint, but......
£15.90 for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc!!
"Come on, we're on holiday" mode destroyed by a bluddy receipt before you've boarded.

I’m not sure if that’s expensive or cheap?
That would be about average in most places I drink
