Random Irritations

Right the battle lines have been drawn and Tash is after the mole in the front garden. If the trap don’t work, am on Amazon to get me one of them Bunker buster bombs which the orange Baby used the other day.
Rose cutting into each of the sides of the tunnel under a molehill. Little blighters don’t do well with those

Leave one of your crocs outside on the garden. It will pack its bags and leave out of embarrassment 😎

Could lend you one of our dogs. She caught the mole we had, but the garden looked like war trenches by then.
And the following year despite no mole continued to dig out the tunnels 😖

The A40 coming out of London from Paddington. We parked up in Marlybone for a few hours this morning and then headed home at midday. This is a 3-lane highway and was pretty clear. It was 30mph on average speed cameras that are constanty in use, for several miles. It felt so so wrong abd frustrating. I can understand using 30 through variable limits like the M25 when traffic is very heavy but this was an open "motorway"!!!!!

Things like that are really annoying, on the other side of the coin today i drove south from Oban down the A816 to the NTS Gardens at Arduaine, 37 minutes and, after leaving the outskirts of town, I didn't see any other vehicle in either direction on the entire journey, amazingly relaxing just tootling along at about 50 mph, I think I saw about 4 or 5 cars on the way back 🙂

Also irritating:
Diesel in Haddington East Lothian around £1.45 per Ltr when I left on Sat
Diesel in Oban today £1.34 pet Ltr

Yip, fuel in Glasgow is about 10p per litre cheaper than East Lothian.
Someone told me recently that Asda Dunbar had the most expensive supermarket market fuel in the country.

Not that i care these days but it is pretty bad that they can get away with such a price range on fuel.

The totally over the top coverage of the BBC festival that is just starting on a farmers field down in the SW.
One the world's biggest festivals getting well deserved coverage. It's an amazing experience to go to

I could believe that Ken, my son Ali jnr lives nr Govan and fills up at the Adsa next to the police station, it must be one of the cheapest, to be fair though there's obviously more money going around in our neck of the woods than there is there so i don't grudge them that

Some cheaper places in the Borders too, the Co-op in Earlston is usually competitively priced
