Random Irritations

I once read a negative review about a hotel, “it don’t serve chips every day”.😳

I love stumbling across "oddball" reviews. So, not really an irritation but......

I was researching restaurants in Amble and came across a restaurant called Rossini. Vast majority are decent reviews but
when they get a bad one - the owner just comes across as a crazy! What are these type of people thinking??

Dennis Taylor at Milford GC.
Robert Plant in a pub khazi in the 1980s.

Gary Lineker at school.
Can't actually remember a specific occasion, but have more than 95% certainty it did happen sometime. About fifty years ago so memory is hazy.
Probably showered with him as well after games of footy.
He wasn't famous then of course, but I'm fairly sure he thought he was................................................ (going to be)

I've been there, I work in Amble. Decent enough Italian. Not exceptional, not bad. Cheap and cheerful.

Pot hole claims getting rejected. Usual excuses from them designed to deter people from carrying on. I've now submitted a data request to see if said road was inspected when they say it was. If it backs them up I'll be forced to take it to court. I'll represent myself and the worst case is even if I lose, the net result is a huge loss for them after they've paid legal fees so I'll take some comfort from that out of sheer spite!

Another claim will be going in as pot hole has cracked a suspension spring in the past few weeks which will cost £500+ to fix.

Good idea, that means there will be less money to repair potholes, provide social services and everything else that councils are struggling to pay for nowadays. But as long as you get some satisfaction.
