Some of the slip roads end at a T-junction though, not a roundabout. I've seen a few where the road markings are worn and the signage is poor. A lot of drivers get confused for a variety of reasons and I can see how the odd blunder can occur.Apparently there are calls for signage and layout to be checked as more and more people are ending up going the wrong way down a motorway....numbers have increased dramatically
Seriously, you have to try really hard to go the wrong way at a motorway roundabout...unless you're doing it deliberately you shouldn't be behind the wheel of a car as you have the iq of a flea....
They freeze well.I'm with Imurg on the driving, we've been in Cornwall for a week and the standard of motorway driving is shocking, I still think it should be an additional test to get on the motorway.
Cooking Christmas dinner this year has been an irritation - being asked to cook a couple of bits that barely got touched, MiL & SiL insisted I cook a ridiculous amount of roast potato's, half of them thrown away, and to top it off I had various people loitering with advice, eventually said if they needed something to do then the table needed setting.
Point conceded but...Some of the slip roads end at a T-junction though, not a roundabout. I've seen a few where the road markings are worn and the signage is poor. A lot of drivers get confused for a variety of reasons and I can see how the odd blunder can occur.
Trouble with this is that there are swathes of the country with no motorwaysI'm with Imurg on the driving, we've been in Cornwall for a week and the standard of motorway driving is shocking, I still think it should be an additional test to get on the motorway.

Don't you mean on your right?Point conceded but...
There will be No Entry signs and No Entry written in 3 foot high letters on the ground.....
P.us the motorway will be on your left as you advadown the slip road....should be enough clues there...
We bought a crown and gammon and I have at least half of both now sliced and in the freezer. So, turkey and ham pie in a day or so, then maybe again in a month.Cooking Christmas dinner this year has been an irritation - being asked to cook a couple of bits that barely got touched, MiL & SiL insisted I cook a ridiculous amount of roast potato's, half of them thrown away, and to top it off I had various people loitering with advice, eventually said if they needed something to do then the table needed setting.
Nor does NorthumberlandTrouble with this is that there are swathes of the country with no motorways
E.G The M5 between Bristol and Exeter has no motorways due West of it and almost no Motorways due east until just outside of Basingstoke
So no motorways in most of Devon, all of Cornwall, most of Wiltshire, all of Dorset and a lot of Somerset.
Worse when stood alongside Wolly Hilloughby and her "endearing" rictus grin.Stephen Mulhern

I was'nt trying to score a point - I completely agree with you. Just aware that there are some junctions out in the sticks where the signs are knackered and the white lines are worn away.Point conceded but...

Misread that. Not if you're going the wrong way.....
Since when has there been a motorway in Cornwall?I'm with Imurg on the driving, we've been in Cornwall for a week and the standard of motorway driving is shocking, I still think it should be an additional test to get on the motorway.
Saw an accident in Spalding last week. Head on where a car was using the oncoming lane to turn right at a traffic light.Apparently there are calls for signage and layout to be checked as more and more people are ending up going the wrong way down a motorway....numbers have increased dramatically

The M180 in Lincolnshire being forgotten for the second time on this forum in a week or so. It’s as if it weren’t a proper grown up motorway.Nor does Northumberland
If AI is to be trusted none of the following English counties have a motorway in them
Cornwall, Dorset, East Sussex, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Northumberland, Rutland, and Suffolk.
There are also a good number in Wales and Scotland, Google is your friend.
All of this confirms your point
I did caveat that with "if AI is to be trusted ". Clearly, as Sarah Connor so wisely advised, it can not be trusted . Correction duly notedThe M180 in Lincolnshire being forgotten for the second time on this forum in a week or so. It’s as if it weren’t a proper grown up motorway.
