And the only thing I wrap is the lamb joint in tinfoil, smeared in mint sauce....bound for the slow cooker about 10-11 tomorrow morning for about 5-6 hours.

Very irritated to learn that Apple Pencil 2 is not compatible with my daughter’s new IPad Pro M4. I already had to shell out for a new Magic Keyboard to go with the new iPad as the magnet positions mean the old one wasn’t compatible… which was already annoying and expensive. But the pencil didn’t occur to me. Absolute robbing infractions. Suppose on the plus side I’ll inherit the ipencil alongside the old iPad and keyboard.

Ditto on the pencil. And I’ll add that the keyboard lasted less than 6 months. The iPad is great but the accessories are expensive rubbish.

Our living room ceiling has a history of this with bathroom above - three major issues over 15 years.Random leak coming through kitchen ceiling from bathroom above after showering. No obvious signs when I check. Another big bill coming in new year. Brilliant.
Then, a few weeks back a drip fell from our light fitting but only reappeared randomly days apart.
Paid £80 for plumber to take every panel off in bathroom and concluded leak must be under floor in piping outside bathroom.
It reappeared days later and a little bulb in my head lit up. Storm wotsit was in full flow outside. I went into loft to find water running down chimney stack, finding its way down first floor to living room! Needed a roofer and a bathroom fitter to do a tidy job replacing bathroom panels.
Sorted.
Then boiler packed in - £300.
