People knock Evri but, in all honesty, I've had so few problems with them considering the amount of stuff I've put through them in the last X number of years
PO/ PF tracking is a joke.....I don't know why they bother..DHL and UPS are the same.
Best delivery service I get is DPD...you get a 1 hour time slot and 99% of the time they're there....UPS give you End of Day and then a time slot of you're lucky
Had a parcel the other day through them...got a time slot of 2.13 - 3.13
Got pushed back to 6.23 - 7.23
And then 9.23 - 10.23.....sod that. Moved it to the next day and got it 10am
They're all pretty hopeless when you consider they've got 1 job
But then, when you look at the volumes......some aren't that bad.

I love DPD. I really do. I wanted to use them but couldn't find an option where they would take the parcel (because of size)

Your right about Evri, this is the first parcel I've ever had an issue with and I've sold a fair bit via them

At least they track straight away

Must say people moan about Evri phone lines aswell but parcel force I had to trick to be able to talk to a human

I feel for my buyer. This wedge was collected 28th November, for a week it said on way back to sender

Arrived at My house Saturday so I thought nope this guys waited enough parcel force it asap for the guy , don't wait for evri to send again, take the hit on the postage

And then this rubbish happens lol 😆
Unfortunately even the best systems produce errors. Just seems you got the unfair share of them in a short duration.

Just hope the poor guy gets it soon lol to be fair he's got a bargain . I paid £95 for the wedge in October, played 4 rounds with it but then treated myself to a pair of mizunos which are lovely (it I had seen them at £99 each I'd of never of bought the other wedge) anyways can't return a used club so sold to him £69 delivered ..for a basically brand new club lol

See I expected this, however I also expected when it was handed to the PO that they would scan it and tracking would say something like

"At post office awaiting collection"

Rather than this

"Awaiting drop off by the sender at the drop off location"

Then to be told the post office have to request it to be collected and that they haven't done so (pf told me on phone)

Then for it to have been collected I expect it to be scanned onto his van and say "on way to depot" but no still "
Awaiting drop off by the sender at the drop off location"
Bold bit is why I think they did’t complete the scan. If it had scanned in it should have updated to something like “received at xxx post office”

I dropped a parcel at the post office today, it’s going RM tracked 24 though, and updated immediately to “accepted at Oakley Post Office”. Next tracking event will be it being scanned in at the hub.

I believe royal mail and the PO systems are much better at talking to each other than PF

When I dropped it he scanned it and goes oh you already did this online , leave it there for me

And that was it

I got a funny feeling I'm just going to end up being out of pocket for this wedge.

Funny thing is "evri" dropped it back Saturday. But the guy was wearing a PF hivi .. and he just dumped at Mt door in the rain. Didn't even press the bell.

The PF and PO systems are basically the same. Even though you bought postage online and printed your own label, you should still have got a proof of postage receipt with your barcode ID on it. Guy at the PO has messed it up by the sounds of it.

Yeah sounds like it. Which of course will end up my fault if it's missing even tho it will be on CCTV me dropping it off

Hopefully the parcel just scans safely in the depot later

I think now it’s in the actual network you will be fine. Check it tomorrow after 8am and it should have updated by then.
