Where we have the Xmas do we have our RBL meetings there and at another villages welfare. The other welfare is streets ahead of the place we were at last night. So why do we use this place. We have been there 9 years and initially we had no problems. The two people that run it. One has passed away and the other has started working at the other Welfare. She is the driving force behind the other place which is excellent. So why do we continue to use this place. A couple of lads who were on the Union were also on the committee of this particular venue we use. They are scratching one another’s back and bringing in easy money without putting in any effort. We have a debrief meeting soon and I am going to mention at the meeting that if things don’t Improve we should go elsewhere.

Trying to order some egift cards from Tesco site and it not working for me

It's still not working and the extra 20% finished tomorrow. 3rd party website who Tesco told me to contact are useless. Took a week to reply with "we are working on it"

Puncture , in rear offside wheel (Screw. ). On a brand new car less that 6 weeks old. (Not had puncture in either of the two previous cars - amounting to 8 years in total).

But in the 'Gladden the Heart' thread could contribute that Kwik Fit only charged £30 to put it right.

I feel your pain. Water being off isn’t too unusual in southern Spain. Today is our 9th day this year. Been off since the early hours. Thankfully, if there is something to be thankful for, we have several 8 litre bottles of water for days like this.

Did you use tap water or rain but water.
Tap water has a lot taken out ( minerals etc ) and things added that plants don’t like.

I use tap water … but I think what killed all of them was a round of ‘Miracle Gro Plant food’.. I am assuming it had something that the international plants were not used to. Would have been easier if I had put some curry on it ..
