I've not really been following this very closely, but am I correct in thinking that he's been suspended for telling jokes?
Has he actually done anything illegal, has he actually assaulted anyone?

BBC News has also heard from a former MasterChef worker who says he showed her topless pictures of himself and asked for massages, and a former worker on Channel 5's Gregg Wallace's Big Weekends, who says he was fascinated by the fact she dated women and asked for the logistics of how it worked.

Another female worker on MasterChef in 2019 says Wallace talked about his sex life; a female worker on the BBC Good Food Show in 2010 says Wallace stared at her chest; and a male worker on MasterChef in 2005-06 says Wallace regularly said sexually explicit things on set.

I’m gobsmacked he’s got away with it for as long as he has, assuming it’s true of course? With past histories at the Beeb, surely people would have felt they could report it sooner rather than later. And if it was reported at the time, is it another Saville cover up? I guess there’s more to come out.

I suspect this is territory of not illegal but unacceptable behaviour in a workplace. I don't think there have been an accusations of a physical nature, it's verbal.

It's seems strange that it has taken this long to be dealt with when it sounds like an open secret. At the very least, he should have been sent on a behaviour course the moment the first accusation came in. Surely the beeb run these?

It’s not only verbal, there are now claims of groping by another 3 people, one at least was a contestant.
A bit like Weinstein, people are scared of making accusations against more powerful people and ‘talent’.

You don't need to assault a person to try and intimidate, humiliate or degrade them. You just need to be in a position of "authority" where those you target are fearsome of complaining.

People have been hammering him for that, but surely it is a simple sign of respect to get someone's name right if you're asking them for money? I mean it's right there in the Twitter handle he tagged.

Ahh now I get what that is all about. I'm inclined to agree that at least get that part right when you're asking for something.

Maybe he retweeted it as well anyway? We don't have the context. Either way, it's clearly a long way away from the worst things he's done. It's just the way you always get these historic Twitter pile-ons whenever the poo hits the fan with a celebrity.

Eldest woke up in night being sick

So I'm on swimming and then taking twins to a party in North London duty

That's irritating the being sick, not nice but what's most annoying is the venue for this party has zero information if parking is available or not

All this information on their website but doesn't mention a car park or parking nearby
