Random Irritations

Mate been there. It's painful, they took part of my hamstring and screwed it in each end of my knee with medical screws that disappear in time and then the hamstring learns to be a ligament, very clever stuff but long recovery.
Exactly the same thing happened with me. Although to be fair, I was told by the surgeon my injury was so bad that once the swelling had gone down from the size of a football he would operate on it, which he did. I was on crutches for 3 months afterwards though.

My wife has had both ACLs reconstructed, but using the middle third of the patella tendons. This was in the early 2000's, and I think at that time the petalla graft was standard - the hamstring method was fairly new back then.

Interested about these medical screws that disappear. Pretty sure the titanium screws in my wife's knees are still there.

People who park on the yellow zig zags outside schools because they can't be arsed to walk further.
The same woman every day outside my grandsons primary school. Parks almost on the crossing by the entry rather than walk 100 yards. Fake tan, trout lips and bleached teeth that would blind oncoming vehicles.

I hate the clocks going back. Waking up ages before I want to get up. Having to put the lights on an hour earlier, heating on a hour earlier, falling asleep in the armchair when I am trying to watch something on the box etc

Saw this today

On this (sort of) subject, why do restaurants give you a special sharp knife for steaks? It is like they are admitting their steaks are tough 🤔

Or why do rubbish normal knifes exist. If every knife was a steak knife it would work for majority of meals
