I've never heard of that before. But I think sometimes, if you have to make it obvious that you're being sarcastic, then the joke loses something. Often the humour lies in the risk of someone taking it at face value.I can't wait till winter when all the golf courses are closed

Yes I know and the story is still developing. The Spanish FA are taking legal action against Hermoso claiming she is lying. I doubt they would do that without strong evidence to support their stance.
A lot more than just their recent threat of legal action, for a start not making their President resign for his recent unacceptable behaviour, to say nothing of all the issues that this team had in the lead ups to this World Cup.
His 'unacceptable behaviour' is what's being investigated.....if what the FA is claiming is true then it might not be as unacceptable as some people are making out. I'm going to wait till the investigation has taken place before passing judgement.
You are welcome to your opinion. I'm not making up my mind until after the investigation.
